1 80 Series Multi-purpose cartridge seals Proven reliability in general purpose sealing applications

2 The 80 Series includes proven seal designs for challenging pump applications from petrochemical plants to paper mills. These single and dual pusher seals are the sealing solution standard for Flowserve customers around the world. Durable and dependable cartridge pusher seals in single and dual configurations The 80 Series seals have a long history of proven success in chemical processing, corn wet milling, pulp and paper, wastewater treatment and municipal water applications, oil refining and other demanding applications. The combination of single and dual cartridge pusher configurations provide versatility to satisfy a full range of exacting application conditions from hydrocarbons to slurries with reliable, proven performance capable of meeting environmental requirements. Features to succeed in general process pump applications Innovative rotary face designs, flexibly mounted to reduce damage from shock and face distortion Standard Operating Limits Pressure 400 psig (27 bar) Temperature -40 to 400 F (-40 to 204 C) Speed 6000 fpm (30 m/s) Shaft size 1.000" to 7.750" (25 mm to 200 mm) Specific Gravity >0.6 Flexible stator design helps prevent face distortion due to out of perpendicularity conditions of the equipment Springs are located outside the process fluid to reduce chemical stress corrosion and spring clogging Stabilized solid silicon carbide and tungsten carbide hard face combinations handle abrasive slurry applications Hydraulically balanced seal design reduces friction, heat and wear by reducing face loading forces while maintaining a lubrication film between the mating faces Dual seals are double balanced to provide both pressurized and non-pressurized operation for increased reliability Gland designs fit large bore seal chambers or standard bore stuffing boxes Flush tap is standard for single seal configurations 2 Factory pre-assembled for reliable equipment start up
