3 MISSION STATEMENT What we aim to do:

4 MISSION STATEMENT To protect the environment and enhance the health of the communities of ethekwini Municipality by providing reasonable measures for the prevention of pollution and ecological degradation. To ensure compliance and enforcement through an environmentally acceptable, cost effective and sustainable waste management service recognizing waste as a valuable source.

Provision and management of wheelie bins and skips Managing of landfill sites Street cleaning and litter removal services Education, Waste Minimisation and Recycling Community waste management awareness and education programmes Research and development of new waste management processes Recovery and process of methane gas, naturally processed in landfills, into an energy source of generating power.
