The Chart MVE Eterne vapour phase freezer range have the longest holding times in the industry. EASE OF USE The Chart MVE range have been designed with ergonomic features to ensure samples can be removed easily and safely. An example of this is the rotating platform and fold up steps on the Eterne vapour freezers. LONG-TERM SAMPLE VIABILITY To ensure long-term viability, samples need to be stored at a constant range of temperatures below a minimum critical threshold, for living cells this is -130 C. The upper limit of the range should be well below this temperature i.e. at least lower than -140 C. Storing in liquid is not always practical as it poses health and safety and cross contamination issues. The alternative is to store in vapour, however not all vapour freezers are able to maintain a temperature lower than -140 C. This is not the case with Chart MVE products, as their design, excellent thermal insulation and vacuum performance, ensures your samples are consistently kept below the critical temperature. Chart MVE were the first company to develop freezers specifically designed for storage of samples in vapour phase. The Eterne vessels feature a smaller, offset lid which results in a greater surface area being protected by a vacuum insulated surface, this stops heat radiating into the vessel and ensures samples are maintained in a -190 C environment. This temperature can be maintained in excess of 20 days without additional filling. LONG PRODUCT LIFETIME There is a standard 2 year warranty on all equipment (parts and labour) and a 5 year vacuum warranty. Chart MVE s vacuum warranty surpasses industry standards due to the rugged design and high quality welds. Chart MVE aluminium products have only one weld compared to two welds on other freezer products supplied in the market. All these features result in a longer product lifetime which both protects your samples and reduces the frequency with which you have to replace freezers.
