With more than 25 years experience, Arflu has been designing and manufacturing a wide range of industrial valves for the Petrochemical, Gas, Water & Desalination, Energy and Marine markets, under our brand ARFLU. We provide our customers unique tailor made solutions orientated to specific services for Water & Desalination systems. In Desalination Arflu is manufacturing and providing valve solutions for 2 main technologies: Thermal processes (evaporation) Membrane processes (RO) Among the thermal processes, the most commonly used is the MSF (Multi Stage Filtration) and MED (Multiple-effect distillation), in which salty water is heated in a so called brine heater. Here, the inlet flow of marine water is passed through a series of heated pipes from which, once reached the target temperature, it is passed on to a further stage of pressure decrease to bring the water to boil in a sudden evaporation. Reverse osmosis, a common phenomenon in nature, is the most usual procedure to obtain drinkable water through a membrane system. Here we have some of the solutions we provide for the Water Industry:

4 CHECK VALVES Swing Check Dual Plate Wafer / Flanged Single Plate Wafer Butterfly Check Arflu manufactures Check valves for different Water applications. From Low pressure to High pressure and from common materials in the Industry (i.e.) ductil iron, to new ones such as Duplex and Super Duplex. NOZZLE CHECK VALVES PN10-PN16-PN Superior in performance, comparing to other check valves, Arflu Nozzle Check valves have a lower pressure drop and better response. The venture effect is achieved through the axial movement of the disc, which gives a streamlined flow path and generally has a much better performance. Its design makes these valves more durable for high pressure application.

5 GLOBE CONTROL VALVES Bolted Bonet Pressure Seal All kind of actuators We manufacture Globe Control valves with large range of trims, specially selected for any application, which guarantee a perfect valve performance of the control valve under any operational condition, even for the most severe applications. Low noise trims and diffusers can be supplied as an integral part of our design. Downstream plates or diffusers can be combined to give further noise reduction, while improving valve performance. Arflu manufactures Floating and Trunnion Ball valves with various available designs including, but not only, 2 and 3 pieces design, 1 piece body type and also Top Entry design Ball valves.

7 RO 3 WAYS PLUG VALVES Special Design for R.O. systems All kind of actuators We have designed the Arflu 3 Ways Plug valve for CIP Service Based on our experience and following our customers demand we have developed a unique solution for the membrane cleaning systems into SWRO plants. The aim is to subsitute 2 common RO Plug valves pieces for 1 three ways Plug piece in Super Duplex material. We bring to the SWRO Industry a more compact solution for RO CIP systems with significant savings in installation, operation and maintenance.
