AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGAINST THE INFLUENCE OF AN AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION Slurry as a side-product of a livestock production is an universal fertilizer. But on the other hand it is negativ factor for the microclimate in a stable and in an enviroment surroundings the farm. The appropriate processing is necessary for the intensive vegetable production and for the prevention against negativ influence on the enviroment. Slurry is an important source of organic compouds and nutrients. It protects reducing of humus content in a soil, favourably influences its physiochemical qualities. It improves the water utilization, it limits the water and a wind erosion and it favourably influences the available phosphorus. On the other hand, slurry can be a significant problem for the environment, for the quality of the subsoil water, for spread of the effluvial emissions, for the influence on the stable microclima and for the plant scorch risk. THEREFORE WE DEVEL- OPED TECHNOLOGIES AND SYSTEMS FOR PROCESSING, STORAGE AND APPLICATION OF THE SLURRY. WE DESIGN AN OPTIMAL SOLUTION FOR EVERY FARM. BAUER OFFERS COMPLETE EQUIPMENT FOR PROCESS- ING, TRANSPORTATION, COMPOSTING, STORAGE AND APPLICATION OF THE SLURRY: SEPARATORS, PUMPS AND MIXERS TANKS AND APPLICATORS SYSTEM OF BIOGAS REACTORS BAUER SLURRY STORAGE IN OVERGROUND STEELY OR CONCRETE TANKS OR LAGOONS

BAUER BRU BEDDING SYSTEM HIGH SPEED BEDDING RECOVERY UNIT THE BAUER BEDDING RECOVERY UNIT BRU is a system to recover bedding material from liquid manure. One system containing a Press Screw Separator and a Compost Drum Dryer is sized for a dairy with up to 1000 cows. The BAUER Bedding Recovery Unit BRU provides internally created bedding material recycled from the manure solids already at the farm. The bedding is produced fresh daily, needs no extra storage area and does not increase the total amount of manure solids. The process is fully automated. The manure is pumped from the collection pit to the Press Screw Separator. The separated solids are fed by a feeding auger for controlled dosing into the Compost Drum Dryer and are automatically discharged after the intense aerobic process. The biological process is monitored by measuring the temperature and controlled by adjusting the air volume. THE FAN BEDDING RECOVERY UNIT BRU INCLUDES TWO STEPS: 1) Primary solids separation to remove the large higher quality solids The first step in the process is the separation of large fibers from the manure. These fibers are mainly undigested parts of feed, such as corn silage or hay. This is performed by a special designed Press Screw Separator to remove only the large fibers and lower the moisture content. The solids are fed continuously with a screw conveyor into the FAN Compost Drum Dryer. 2) High speed, real-time composting The second step in the process takes place in the insulated FAN Compost Drum Dryer. Here the solids are treated in an intensive aerobic process for hygienization and drying. The process ensures a homogeneous product that is treated in a controlled process. The chemistry of the product is modified compared to that of fresh manure and therefore counteracts the mastitis producing microorganisms in the fresh manure. Finally the entire process is controlled by monitoring the treatment process. 8 MANURE SEPARATION Big ecological problem is caused by high number of animals, soil is overloaded by animal excrements and subsequently overloaded by nutrients. Major problem is a contamination of underground waters, surface waters and concentration of nitrates in this waters. Next problem point are high losses of nitrogen, up to 80% on stubles and meadows. The biggest losses are in the cause of manure aplication in the bad time. Environment is highly damaged by odour emissions of amonia, which is big problem near the hausing areas. Becouse it is not possible to apply crude manure in optimal way and time, it is necessary to use additional pesticides. Subsequently, the soil is ovrloaded by phosporus and has lower yield. After 20 years of using manure separators all around the world is shown endeavour to eliminate negative side effects of manure using. Unfortunately were not available some low-end and powerful separators with low energy consumption. Till this time used separation techniques like a decanter centrifuges, pressers with belt screens, mesh separators, dewatering augers or pressers are linked to high investment and operating costs, high energy consumption and with low dry matter in separated manure. Therefore this devices are unusable for wider application. Separated solid fraction with low dry matter is very bad for storage, composting and packing. Therefore are used worm separators with low energy consumption and high output and high dry matter. Bauer pressing screw separator is an ideal, technically advanced system for optimal separation of solid and liquid fractions of pig, cattle or poultry manure. It has a robust and compact construction, with minimal demands on maintenance. Solid fraction has adjustable dry matter between 30 40%. High power according to dry matter - in cattle manure up to 8 m3/hour, in pigs manure up to 9 m 3 /hour. High level of separation of individual fractions. Relatively low cost of investments on purchase and installation compared to competitive systems. Low input power (4 kw). Minimal separator wear, thanks to low speed (30 rpm). Small proportions compact construction (2,07 x 0,55 x 0,98 m). Available in mobile version on a cart.

ADVANTAGES OF SEPARATION Separation is the first step for obtaining of valuable fertilizers in solid or liquid phase with relative easy manipulation and application of both fractions. Separated manure has uniform nutrient content in both fractions, easy to analyze and easy to use required quantity of nutrients during the fertilization. Better hydraulic properties of separated manure allows right application by trailing hose aplicators or injectors, faster infiltration averting escape of amonia and odour. Decreasing of content of solid materials in the separated manure minimalize flowers burn and grass felt. That provides faster growth of grass and earlier using of pastures. According to experiencess that way means one extra fertilization and skiving in the year. There is no need to homogenize liquid fraction in the end-storage-tank, that saves operating costs on pumps and mixers. Storage capacity of liquid fraction is decreased about % (depends on contain of dry matter). Bauer - fan system allows to adjust dry mater of solid fraction, but also in basic setting has manure good storage ability on the flat surface. Basic dry mater of solid fraction is 30%. Solid fraction can be easily composted, packed and tabletted. Can be easily applied by manure spreader, or can be used in gardening. SLURRY SEPARATION

MANURE COMPOSTERS An ideal mean of composting is a BAUER mobile or stationary device. It allows to compost manure or slurry in combination with other materials (straw and ther organic materials). The device we supply in four stationary versions and one mobile version. TUBULAR APPLICATORS Another method of our application is the belt irrigator BAUER Rainstar - Guellestar. The length of tubes can be adjusted according to your requirements. We can offer you a cemplete system including consols and sprayers. BAUER offers one of the most effective irrigation solution.

BIOGAS MODULAR DUAL-SEAM SYSTEM When opting for a biogas system, the focus should be on the manufacturer's experience. It is not merely a question of economic profitability, but essentially also an optimal concept. BAUER built the first reactors in 1990, by Lipp Dual-Seam system, which we use now, has over 30 years of experience and has been developed during that time.the Biogas system is based on a well-rounded systems concept with Verinox material and high-quality accessories, which guarantee long life and excellent efficiency. The system is also interesting that we can use local components and construction and supply you only the necessary parts. MODULAR CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM Modular delivery system (additional modules such as the degree of upstream pasteurization or the use of advancedt technologies for processing before and after fermentation) is excellent in that the client has no limitations in terms used by fermentable substrates and the extension system in the future. OPTIMUM OPERATING SAFETY Prior to horizontal and vertical mixing, plant construction, coordination is carried out with the future plant owner in order to define the optimum stirring technique based on the respective substrate. Operational safety is ensured through the closed reaction room, and externally mounted drive of the stirring mechanism. INTELLIGENT DESIGN Variable dimensions and substrate-flexible stirring technology also allow the use of more problematic substrates. The wall heating system mounted on the outside of the fermenter wall provides for optimum fermenting conditions and a high gas yield. QUICK INSTALLATION = LOWER COSTS Low assembly costs are possible through the use of the Lipp Dual-Seam System technology and on-site production.
