The response was received from the City of Ottawa on March 18, The search revealed that there were 11 activities identified within 50 metres of the subject site, 8 of which are considered potentially contaminating activities based on O.Reg. 153/04 under the EPA. These activities are listed in Table 1 below. The distances / orientations with respect to the site listed in Table 1 are based on depicted locations in the overview map attached by the City. It is suspected that this printers was actually located in one of the commercial buildings 25 to 40 m south of the site and that the printers was in operation for a short period of time (identified in HLUI records in 2005) given that it was not observed during the city directory research, generally checked in 10 year intervals. This former printers is not suspected to have impacted the subject land. The aforementioned Service Centre and Service Station, which are shown 30 m southwest of the site were actually formerly located 145 m southwest and 115 m south of the site, respectively, as observed in Fire Insurance Plans and aerial photographs. These former operations were located significant distances with respect to the site and are not suspected to have impacted the subject land. patersongroup

It should also be noted that these concerns were assessed in the March 2013 Phase II - ESA, completed for the subject property by Paterson.
