Ltd., Gurgaon 134/2016-HSMD) Import of 01 no. of used/second hand capital goods i.e. VW Line 13C002 for production of switch from USA The matter was last discussed in the 72 nd meeting of Expert Committee held on 19 th and 20 th September, The Committee noted that these items are of capital nature and will be used for production of automotive switches. The year of manufacture ranges from 2009 to 2015 for various equipment of the assembly line and some of the items are of mechanical nature. However, the Committee noted that the CEC is unsigned. The Committee recommended to get to obtain a signed copy of CEC from the applicant. Now the applicant has submitted a signed copy of CEC M/s Mavenir Systems Pvt. Ltd., Palakkad, Kerala 50/2016-HSMD) Import of used tyres scrap. The matter was last discussed in the 70 th meeting of Expert Committee held on 4 th and 5 th July, Based on the inspection submitted by ZO Office Bangalore, CPCB, the unit has to carry out the following improvements: (i) (ii) The existing cyclone and bag filter shall be provided with suction hood connected to the cutting and grinding machine The monitoring of ambient air and source shall be carried out in and comply to the standard norms. The Committee recommended the applicant should carry out the aforesaid improvements and submit its evidence to the Ministry and CPCB, subsequently the application will be considered for import. Now the applicant has informed that they have connected the Grinding and cutting machine with the Suction-by a covered duct and attached photographs as an evidence with the letter and also submitted a copy of the certificate/test report from the registered authority.

7 Sl M/s Vinora Industries, Chennai 136/2014-HSMD) Import of used tyres scrap The matter was last discussed in the 70 th meeting of Expert Committee held on 4 th and 5 th July, 2016 and the decision of the Committee mentioned below: The Committee noted that the applicant has not yet submitted the evidence of proper storage of raw materials and has also not submitted the requisite authorization from concerned SPCB as required under the HW Rules, The Committee therefore deferred the case till above submission are made. Now the applicant has submitted the following documents with their letter : (I) Photographs as an evidence of proper storage of raw materials. (II) Authorization from Tamilnadu State Pollution Control Board which is valid upto 12/10/ M/s S&J Granulate Solutions(P) Ltd., Gujarat (F. No. 5-19/2011- HSMD) Import of used rubber tyres scrap. The matter was last discussed in the 72 nd meeting of the Expert Committee held on 19 th and 20 th September, The recommendation of the Committee mentioned below : The Committee noted that the applicant had enhanced the production capacity of plant to 8000 MT of rubber crumbs, granules and cut pieces from 3220 MT per month and this is reflected in the consent to establish issued by Gujarat Pollution Control Board. However, the applicant has applied for CTO for this higher capacity and is yet to receive the same. The Committee recommended that the case will be considered only after submission of valid CTO for enhanced capacity to this Ministry. Now the applicant has submitted CTO and Authorization from Gujarat State Pollution Control Board which is valid upto 22/01/2017.

The applicant has now sent a letter, the intent of which is not clear. Ii is also not clear whether any export has been made. The Committee therefore recommended calling the applicant for presentation. Now in the applicant has confirmed for presentation.
