LTD (SSCPL) proposes to construct a Gated Community Apartments titled Shanta Sriram Lake Front. The total builtup area of Sq.m in a plot area of Acres at survey number 15 and 5 (Part), Peerancheruvu village, Rajendranagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District of Telangana. The proposed Gated Community Apartment complex consists of 879 flats with 2 BHK/3 BHK (Stilt + Cellar + 8 Floors), Amenities and Services LOCATION OF THE PROJECT The proposed site is located in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits near Peerancheruvu Village, Rajendranagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, Telangana. The site falls in Survey of India toposheet no. 56/K/7 First Edition, (1:50000 scale) PROJECT DESCRIPTION Shanta Sriram Constructions Pvt. Ltd (SSCPL) proposes to construct a Gated Community Apartments titled Shanta Sriram Lake Front with a total builtup area of Sq.m in an Area of Acres at survey number 15 and 5 (Part), Peerancheruvu village, Rajendranagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District of Telangana. The proposed Gated Community Apartments complex consists of 879 flats with 2 BHK/3 BHK (Stilt + Cellar + 8 Floors) and Amenities (Cellar + 5 Floors) PROJECT COST The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 140 Crores. As per the HMDA, the land is reserved for residential development. The construction of proposed project will be carried on vacant land. Three houses, labour sheds and two hereditary graves belonging to the family of land owners are located on the existing land. The houses and labour sheds will be demolished during the construction of the residential apartment and the hereditary graves will be beautified and left untouched keeping in view of the sentiments of the land owner BUILT-UP AREA Shanta Sriram Constructions Pvt. Of this, about 545 kld is the wastewater generation from the apartment s complex. The wastewater generated from the Gated Community Apartments will be collected through network of pipes. The collected wastewater will be routed to the sewage treatment plant through pipes provided with inspection chambers. The power is sourced from Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL). The impact on air environment in the operation phase will be mainly due to the following a. Vehicular movement b. Operation of the DG sets which are the emergency power supply units Vehicular movement The emission from vehicular movement is mainly from the exhaust of two and four wheelers. Operation of the emergency power supply units - DG sets DG sets of 2000 KVA capacity will be provided as emergency power supply backup. The following measures will be implemented for control of air pollution DG sets will be operated only during emergency and are not in continuous operation. CPCB approved DG sets conforming to noise and emission standard will be provided. Stacks of adequate height (3m above the building height will be provided to exhaust the flue gas emission. Then, the rainwater is finally connected to recharge pits. Recharge pits of 50 Nos. are provided inside the project site to recharge the ground water table ROOF TOP RAIN WATER HARVESTING The run-off rainwater from roof of each building will be drained out effectively by providing sufficient number of rainwater PVC down takes pipe designed to handle the intensity/flow of rainwater. These pipes are routed with necessary slope and vertically down to ground Level. The roof rain water will be collected from the terrace of the building and stored in the sump. A sump having the capacity of 400 kl will be provided to store the roof top rain water GREENBELT DEVELOPMENT Greenbelt has been considered with hose bibs and sprinklers. The STP treated wastewater shall be used for the irrigation of greenbelt SOLID WASTE GENERATION The solid waste generation from the project in the operation phase is mainly from the following areas: a. Domestic Solid waste b. Solid waste from sewage treatment plant Domestic solid waste including Garbage The solid wastes generated during operation phase will consist of mainly paper, cartons, thermocol, plastics, polythene bags, glass, waste vegetables and foods etc. The quantity of solid waste generated from the Gated Community Apartment is 1740 kg/day. The organic waste is 957kg/day and inorganic waste is 783 kg/day. The inorganic wastes will be disposed to authorize vendors for recycling and the organic wastes will be disposed to local municipal authorities. Sludge from waste-water treatment The STP sludge quantity is estimated to be 65 m 3 /day and will be conditioned and dried. The dried sludge cakes will be used as manure for greenery development. Conscious choice of equipment for lift motors with VFD as against conventional lifts achieving power saving of about 10% FIRE FIGHTING DEVICES Fire-fighting measures proposed in the project are as follow. SSPCL will incur an amount of Rs. 32 Lakhs/- annually for implementation of Environmental Management Plan.
