3 RENEWABLE ENERGIES ARE OUR FUTURE The basis for the strategic expansion is the successful business model The PNE Group is an internationally active wind power pioneer and one of the most experienced wind farm project planners in Germany. The core business is the development and project planning as well as the construction and operation of onshore and offshore wind farms. Since 1990, the PNE Group has successfully realized internationally more than 220 onshore wind farms with a total nominal output of around 2,600 MW. The Group operates in various countries in Central and Southern Europe, Scandinavia, South Africa and North America. In addition to project planning, the PNE Group takes over the commercial and technical operations management of onshore wind farms and transformer stations under the brand energy consult - both for self-hosted wind farms as well as for those of other operators. PNE s strategic orientation includes the entire value chain of renewable energy and the refinement of electricity in the future. In addition to wind energy, photovoltaics, storage and power-to-gas technology are part of the portfolio. 6 OUR SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED MAJOR PROJECTS ON LAND The realization of sustainable energy supply through clean energies has increased strongly in recent years. Land-based wind energy in particular makes a considerable contribution to power generation. Since 1990, the PNE Group has successfully implemented more than 220 onshore wind farms in Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Poland and the USA with a total nominal output of more than 2,600 MW. 7 ... AND AT SEA Wind farms at sea are the key to a successful energy transition. High, constant wind conditions prevail at sea and there is sufficient space to build wind farms with an output of several hundred megawatts. Unlike our onshore projects, we generally sell wind farms at sea ready to construct, i.e. when we have obtained all the approval requirements so that the implementation phase and subsequent construction can begin immediately. 8 WE ARE EXPANDING OUR BUSINESS WITH THE NEW CORPORATE STRATEGY SCALE UP We are strategically realigning our operative business with the Scale up corporate strategy and will evolve from a specialist in the project planning, construction and operation of wind farms to a provider of solutions for clean energy. As a Clean Energy Solution Provider, we want to expand our range of services and will occupy new markets and technologies. 9 The key features of the new strategy: Technologies In addition to wind energy, photovoltaics, storage and power-to-gas are the key components of the corporate strategy. New will be the development of solutions for clean energy supply in power-to-gas projects. This will be the first step into the segments of mobility and heating from renewable energies. In addition, PNE plans to develop renewable energy power plants and island solutions. Markets Apart from the established markets for wind energy such as Germany, France or the USA, we will also focus on emerging markets in the future. These include: Latin America, the Middle and Far East as well as Africa. These are characterised by high energy demand and thus offer great sales potential. Services The range of services offered is expanded, to support our customers in all phases of their renewable energy projects: From wind measurement and project development to construction management, operation and repowering. PNE offers its operational management services for wind farms and transformer stations for photovoltaic projects as well. The company is also working on fi nancing solutions for renewable energy projects. Operations The generation of electricity from our own capacities will be supplemented in the future by smart energy supply management, i.e. through optimised marketing of electricity and gas via dealers or power purchase agreements (PPA). 9

10 CLEAN ENERGY SOLUTION PROVIDER We have the know-how and the strength for the new strategy... An important first milestone is the cooperation agreement with VPC GmbH. Both companies are jointly developing offgrid and self-sufficient energy supplies for public and commercial use. Such Energy Islands can be individually planned, implemented and operated according to requirements and location. They are very interesting not only for Germany but also for other countries. Another important success in the strategic implementation: The first wind farm for the planned new european wind farm portfolio of around 200 MW has been completed. The wind farm Kührstedt / Alfstedt was put into operation in December The wind farm comprises 13 wind turbines with a total rated output of 43.2 MW. and have already started with the implementation 10

From the installation of the wind turbine with the assembly of the various individual parts to completion, everything is perfectly coordinated. Services for ongoing business Achieving long-term success with competence The PNE Group also takes over the technical and commercial management of wind farms. This includes continuous monitoring on the one hand, and the coordination of maintenance and repair work on the other. We ensure that service and maintenance are carried out regularly and that the wind turbines run as efficiently as possible - both at our own wind farms and those of our customers. Repowering Renewal of wind farms Like all technical equipment, wind farms are designed for a certain lifetime. The operating time is approx. 20 years, after which older models can be replaced by more modern and more powerful wind turbines, the so-called repowering. In the course of repowering, the expert opinions are reviewed again and the approval procedure is again carried out routinely. The cycle can start again. With repowering, power generation can be multiplied with a reduced number of wind turbines. Purchase of projects and wind farms The development of wind farm projects and repowering are associated with risks and uncertainties. Some developers or wind farm operators are therefore looking for a strong partner. Here, the PNE Group is ready for partnership-based solutions or the purchase of projects and wind farms, too. 13
