4 What is UV-C Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) is a disinfection method that uses short-wavelength ultraviolet (UV-C) light to kill or inactivate microorganisms by destroying nucleic acids and disrupting their DNA, leaving them unable to perform vital cellular functions. UVGI is used in a variety of applications, such as food, air, and water purification. UV-C light is weak at the Earth's surface as the ozone layer of the atmosphere blocks it. UVGI devices can produce strong enough UV-C light in circulating air or water systems to make them inhospitable environments to microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, moulds and other pathogens. UVGI can be coupled with a filtration system to sanitize air and water. The application of UVGI to disinfection has been an accepted practice since the mid-20th century. It has been used primarily in medical sanitation and sterile work facilities. Increasingly it has been employed to sterilize drinking and wastewater, as the holding facilities are enclosed and can be circulated to ensure a higher exposure to the UV. In recent years UVGI has found renewed application in air and surface disinfection systems. UV safe Systems use the latest high output lamps and multivoltage ballasts.

5 Close Couple Field Technology - CCFT CCFT is a revolutionary technology utilising non-ionizing electron field created through the use of alternating current at very low power. It is an entirely new form of active air treatment that utilises Patent applied for technology to destroy all airborne bacteria, viruses and volatile organic compounds (VOC s) that are passed through its disruptive electron field. HOW IT WORKS: CCFT and MDT (Molecular Disruptive Technology) uses elementary physics to change the chemistry of air: Air enters the device and is passed through an electron avalanche inside a non-ionizing disruptive electron field. Viruses are destroyed immediately by breaking down the bonding charges that bond the individual chemical bases together within the Virus. ( % effectiveness). Bacteria, moulds and their spores are killed immediately when the electron avalanche destroys the envelope of lipids that surround each cell and their cellular walls ( % effectiveness). VOC s are disassembled by CCFT/ MDT into their constituent atomic components and rendered inert (99.94% effectiveness). Each disassembled and inert particle is then given an electric charge by the field and expelled through an electro-static High Air Flow (HAF) Media. Any debris or remaining matter bonds to the HAF Media and is completely safe to handle. Chemically pure air then exits the device, post treatment. CCFT/ MDT FEATURES CCFT/MDT completely destroys such dangerous viruses and compounds as SARS, Swine Flu, TB, MRSA, Influenza and Anthrax. It has been extensively tested by Independent Professional International Laboratories including the HSL in the UK and the DTI in Denmark and in Universities across Europe. CCFT/ MDT has the added benefit of removing smokes and odours. The dielectric components (electrically insulating material) of the CCFT/ MDT modules are unaffected by moisture or temperature, meaning that they can operate in the harshest environments (up to 1,000 ).

6 The Technology Sterimise-Air combines CCFT (Close Couple Field Technology) for air sterilization and HAF (High Air Flow) for air filtration; these two unique and highly effective technologies together create a very powerful and effective air treatment system. Firstly, CCFT electrically generates a non thermal plasma energy field through a series of high voltage coils. The plasma energy is safely contained within the unit. As air flows through the plasma field any micro-organisms present in the atmosphere are completely destroyed at a cellular level. CCFT is capable of destroying all manner of biological and chemical contaminates through this process known as molecular ripping. The plasma energy is so powerful that it literally shatters the cell walls rendering any viable molecule completely inert and harmless to humans. Secondly, HAF is a super efficient electrostatically charged filtration media which traps any residual matter exiting the CCFT field. HAFs unique honeycomb design allows air to flow freely through thousands of tiny channels minimising back pressure down to just 25 Pascals. And because of this HAF is much more energy efficient than traditional fibre filters. HAF in conjunction with CCFT is easily capable of arresting particles as small as 0.1pm (1/10,000 th of a millimetre).

Designed to work in as little as 10 seconds. 11 Beef Trials from Slaughter to Retail Packaging In this study, 18 carcasses from a Beef slaughter plant were sampled by swabbing surfaces to examine the effects of the technology on contamination levels after slaughter, after chilling for 48 hours and after transport (18 hours) to the boning plant. 9 beef carcasses entered a chiller containing the technology and 9 entered an untreated identical chiller. Results Significant reductions in TVC and entero for all carcasses after chilling in the treated chiller, however there was no marked difference intvc levels on carcasses within the untreated chiller, during transport in a treated vehicle bacteria levels reduced further. Conclusions UV-C technology can have a beneficial effect on spoilage bacteria on food throughout the food chain. Our technology is effective on airborne and surface bacteria and is safe to use in occupied areas. 13 Waste Recycling Odours, VOC s and Particulates If your process generates OFFENSIVE ODOURS its a sure sign that the Environment Agency will receive complaints. In our studies and research, we looked at the effect of the technology on a wide variety of Odours caused by VOC s (Volatile Organic Compounds) and SVOC s (Semi Volatile Organic Compounds) which occur in this arena of operation. The independent validation testing proved a complete disassembly of a wide range of these compounds including Toluene, Ozone, Waste treatment odours etc. without the formation of any other compounds. These chemical compounds are removed to a certified level of >99% in a single pass.
