2 Why Pelletaire? 1. Wood Pellets absorbs moisture in the form of gas, when condensing into liquid form, heat is generated. 2. Unsaturated wood extractives reacts to oxygen increasing temperature at a high rate Both reactions generate heat at an accelerated rate. In both cases, aerating a large pile of wood pellets will cool the pile and remove CO (Carbon Monoxide) and VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) generated by both self-heating mechanisms.
