PART C Pollution discharged to environment (Parameters as specified in the consent issued) A. Wastewater pollution load: Parameter Quantity of pollutants discharged (mass/day) Concentration of Pollutants in discharges (Mass/Volume) Standards prescribed by TSPCB (mg/l) If not complies, reasons SS 260 kg/day 450 mg/l <1000 NA TDS kg/day 4128 mg/l <5000 NA COD kg/day 3895 mg/l <15000 NA

B) Air pollution load: Parameter Quantity of pollutants discharged (mass/day) Concentration of Pollutants in discharges (Mass/Volume) Percentage of variation from prescribed standards with reasons (If not complies SPM 70 Kg/Day 100 mg/nm 3 NA SO 2 95 Kg/Day 115 mg/nm 3 NA NO 2 15 Kg/Day 50 mg/nm 3 NA PART-D Details of Hazardous waste generation: Source of waste Previous year (Kg) Quantity Generated Present year (Kg) A) From the process - - B) From pollution control facilities - -

PART E Details of solid waste generation: Source of waste Quantity generated (Ton) Present year Previous year A) From the process - - B) From pollution control facilities ATFD, Back filter STP, Stripper,MEE, PART F Please specify the characteristics (in terms of composition and quantum) of hazardous waste as well as solid wastes and indicate disposal practice adopted for both categories of wastes. The hazardous waste is being generated from process and pollution control facilities are segregated and packed in HDPE bags. It is transferred to dedicated hazardous waste storage shed for temporary storage from which it will be sent to TSDF, Dundigal for secured land fill/ authorized cement industries for co incineration. Dedicated drum storage shed is constructed to keep organic liquid waste with elevated platform and leachate system.

The coal ash generated from the coal fired boiler is being sold to brick manufacturers regularly. PART G Impact of the pollution abatement measures taken on conservation of natural resources and on the cost of production. Our aim is to reduce the fresh water consumption as well as solvent that are being used in the manufacturing process by recycling/reusing at our site by recovery. We have been monitoring on the consumption of raw materials to improve the process efficiency as well as conservation of natural resources. Regular monitoring is in place to for water consumption and steam generation to identify other option to recycle the same to reduce water intake and coal consumption. The mother liquors containing spent solvents are collected separately and recovering in the existing dedicated solvent recovery system. All process reactors are equipped with plate heat exchangers/secondary condensers to condense the solvent vapors there by reducing the fugitive emissions into atmosphere. As we committed in our previous environmental statement we have provided acoustic enclosures for all DG Sets to control the noise pollution. As committed, we have created dedicated hazardous storage facility with detoxification system with an investment of R.s 40 Lakhs. As informed we have planted around sampling in the vacant area and they are growing well.

PART - H Additional measures/investments proposal for environmental protection including abatement of pollution, prevention of pollution Work under progress for installation of Bio ETP to treat process effluent with an investment of R.S/. 4.8 Crore. Civil work is in progress for making provision for treating and recycling the Replaced to Agitated Nutch 8 nos Total investment Rs. 2.5 Crore, Filter and Driers to replace conventional centrifuges and driers which help in improving working environment besides maximizing solvent recovery during the filtration and drying process. It will help in reduce the fugitive emissions and fresh solvent intake. Increase the greenery area by planting saplings in vacant area as well as on the both sides of the approach road. PART - I Any other particulars for improving the Quality of the environment Maintaining the good house keeping Monitoring regularly Ambient Air and stack emissions Conducting the work place monitoring for fugitive/solvent emissions Segregation of high TDS, low TDS effluent and Domestic Wastewater Air handling system provided for manufacturing blocks. Bunds provided for all storage tanks to spill containment. Above ground storage tanks provided for storing of effluents at each process block in place of existing underground storage tanks.
