3 Real Time Water Quality Monitoring in New Jersey Estuaries Data Collection Readings are taken every 15 minutes and transmitted once per hour to Monmouth Parameters include: Temperature Salinity ph Dissolved Oxygen Chlorophyll Turbidity Depth

4 Real Time Water Quality Monitoring in New Jersey Estuaries Typical Set Up 4 inch The data sondes are located at each station in a manner that will allow for constant monitoring of surface water conditions at a depth of approximately one meter below the surface of the water. This is achieved by hanging the data sondes inside PVC pipes affixed to the deployment platforms that have holes drilled in the lower portion of the deployment pipes along their length to allow for water exchange. The deployment platforms are constructed as fixed locations on docks/bulkheads/pilings/fender systems at each site.
