13 Hazardous Waste Primary Type of Hazardous Waste The primary type of hazardous waste that leaves Ecolab manufacturing facilities is process waste from vessel rinse outs, equipment cleaning, etc. Generally, this waste is corrosive or flammable, which is why it is deemed hazardous.
