Connection schedule for the XL 9

Manual igrow XL Important tips in advance : Components covered by warranty: The entire cabinet. Save the corresponding invoice carefully and if in doubt about proper functioning contact us. Hailea V-20 air pump. Save the attached warranty. EC and PH meter. Read the included instructions. The most common questions and problems can be solved on the basis of these instructions. Note: New meters are calibrated so you do not have to do this! Do this every 4 weeks (around) or if they indicate different values. The lamps can separately be put on and off with a switch. This is useful if it gets hot in the cabinet in the summer or for pre-growing your cuttings. You should never open the roof itself as there is still warranty (1 year), then the guarantee is no longer valid. After about 4 to 5 harvests your carbon filters, mapito and lights have to be replaced. We recommend to contact us about a maintenance package. Working with EC and ph meters. PH meter: Instrument for measuring the acidity of your water. (See the guidelines for the values included in our growth and flowering schedule). P lease note: a new PH meter always soaking in water for 10 minutes before use. EC Meter: Instrument to measure your nutritional value in your water. (See the guidelines for the values included in our growth and flowering schedule). Do not put any of the meters in the water, deeper than the mark Keep the meter in the box in a dry place, not in your cabinet since the humidity is too high. Rinse the meters after use with clean water and dry them well. Replace regularly and in case of doubt the batteries. It is recommended to calibrate your meters every 4 weeks. See attached description. 10

igrowsysteem startup: Barrel filled with 200 liters of water (5 cm below the edge), preferably temp 20 degrees Celsius, that you can achieve with the supplied heat element. This should be entirely under water in your barrel. The thermal element has an adjustable thermostat. Add Root Stimulator 400ml. By adding Nutrition A + B, the EC value should be 1.1 to 1.4, for the first week growth. This is about 300ml of both. You can increase the EC value by adding more A and B. Caution: always use the same amount of A and B. So if you add 100ml A you must also add 100ml B. bring ph to 5.3 ( with ph-bloom using measuring cup, or cap of the bottle. Do this with caution, the ph value should go down, do not use too much ph- ) ph 5.2 than you burn the hair roots. PH above 6.5 than there will be no food absorbed by the plant. Mix everything in the barrel and then turn on the circulation pump. Bring the water at the correct temperature using the heat element. Put a bucket or watering can under the barrel and fill it with 10 liters. Pour this 10 liter evenly on mapito in 1 box. This is repeated 11 times for each I- growbox. Connect the hose back into the system and let the rest of the water run from the barrel into the Growbox -system. Fill again a barrel of 200 liters and let it run in the igrow system. Let the system run 24 hours. 200 Liters of water is not enough to fill the growbox system because mapito absorbs much water. Tip: When filling the new barrel, you must compensate the EC value of the remaining food and the water of the new barrel. This means if the Growbox system has a high EC value, then fill the new container with a lower EC value. If the Growbox system has a low EC value, fill the new barrel with a high EC value. Make sure that the EC value is between 1.1 to 1.4. Note: use to measure the PH and EC always a measuring cup that you get from the water in your barrel. Heat pump and circulation element may affect the meters! Always start by measuring the EC value and then adjust the PH value t! Warmte element en circulatiepomp kunnen invloed hebben op de meters! 11

Aqualogic Nutrition schedule growbox system. Note: The following schedule is a general guideline you can use for the production of generative plants in your igrowbox. It is carefully composed in collaboration with Aqualogic. Although we are convinced that this nutrition schedule combined with our growbox system gives good results, our method is not sacred, and we encourage our customers to deepen themselves in a technique that works best for them. A good yield is also dependent on multiple factors. A good quality of your cuttings, fresh air in the room and a good extraction of the air is at least as important as your nutrition plan. Also we advise our clients to a kind of log to report on everything concerning the growing. After a few harvests you will learn in this way the needs of your plants and you will be able to notice problems earlier like too much food, plant diseases, etc. Growth stage: Lamps are 18 hours on, and 6 hours off. You can use starting blocks for a good development of the root system. But this is not necessary. EC value 1.1 to 1.5 PH value: 5.3 Note: PH value not lower than 5.3, otherwise you burn your hair roots! Flowering stage: Lamps are 12 hours on, and 12 hours off. 1st week flowering EC 1.1 to ph 5.3 This is about equivalent to: 300cc Booster 50cc enzymes A + B add is totally dependent on the measurement of residual food in the grow-box but will be between 650cc and 900 cc A + B. 2nd week flowering EC 1.5 to ph 5.3 This is approximately equivalent to: 50cc super bloom 200cc Booster 100cc root stimulator 100cc enzymes A + B add is totally dependent on the measurement of residual food in the grow-box. 12

3rd week flowering EC 1.7 to ph 5.3 This is about equivalent to: 200cc Booster 100cc Super Bloom 150cc aminoforter 50cc enzymes A + B add is totally dependent on the measurement of residual food in the grow-box. 4th week flowering EC 1.9 to ph 5.3 This is approximately equivalent to: 300cc Booster 200cc Super Bloom 50cc enzymes A + B add is totally dependent on the measurement of residual food in the grow-box. 5th week flowering EC 2.0 to ph 5.3 This is approximately equivalent to: 300cc Booster 300cc Super Bloom 100cc enzymes A + B add is totally dependent on the measurement of residual food in the grow-box. 6th week flowering In week 6 you fill a barrel with 200 liters of water and 500 ml enzymes. DO NOT add food. Set the ph to 5.3. This is to flush food residues and dead roots from the system. 7th + 8th week flowering EC 2.5 to ph 5.3 This is approximately equivalent to: 200cc Booster 350cc Super Bloom 100cc enzymes A + B add is totally dependent on the measurement of residual food in the grow-box. ( you may add aminoforter ) Starting a new week, you always empty the whole Growbox system and the barrel! If you have filled a new barrel then you leave the tap open to fill the Growbox system. The level hose will indicate when the system is full. Then always close the tap. Tip: Add each 10/14 days AMINOFORTER to your barrel for a extra dose of energy! 13

Cleaning after the harvest After harvesting you must first empty the grow boxes, then you remove the roots partly from the mapito, refill the container with clean water with enzymes. Next, you flush the mapito well, continue to repeat until it really is clean. The entire cabinet itself can be best cleaned with a disinfecting agent. Note: It is important to clean the drip hoses. Make them soaking in the cleaning vinegar. The small blue knee connections that are attached to the gray pipes must be cleaned to prevent clogging. Good to know: If you hear a piercing sound, it is possible that the air-pump in the cabinet is vibrating. This may be solved by a sponge hung behind the air pump. It may also be that your cabinet is in a bare room, which sounds hollow. Or that your cabinet stands on a wooden floor, then it is not unwise to make a thick Styrofoam plate under the cabinet or another form of insulation. The air outlet is at the rear top of the cabinet. It is imperative that you connect a hose. Put this on the flange of the cabinet with a hose clamp and lead the hose out of the room through the shortest way. This is very important in the summer months in the winter months it is not important, but wise. The air input is the four grids that you see in the back of the cabinet. There are two grids under and two above. Because the air is sucked out, you suck air back into the cabinet by the four grids. It is important that the area where the cabinet is, has an open window or something, so that fresh air comes in the room. Operation of the timer: The timer is on the front of ballast block unit. On the top right of the clock you see that there is a small pin with a clock and a No. 1 sign. If you set the timer, then the pin has to be on the clock sign. You can set the timer by pushing the blue pin on the dial to the outside with your nail, so you can set it at your desired time. Installation of the Thermo / Hygro meter: Place the meter on the height of the plants. If your plants grow bigger, you just put the meter even higher. It may be that in summer the temperature rises to 37 as high as 39 degrees, but as long as you plant have enough food and water, there is no problem. They just like u have to cool their feet in water and drink enough. The roots hang into the black box, where it is moist and cool. You do not have to worry. 14

Cutting the top of the plant: Some generative plant species can be topped, as they threaten to grow too high in your cabinet. In most cases you do that if your plants are 25 to 30 centimeters. It may also be done, if your plants are already in the flowering stage. This is usually done in the second or third week. You take the top flower between thumb and index finger and pinches him. This is done only if your plants have become larger and they already have some side branches. IF THERE ARE STILL QUESTIONS, YOU CAN ALWAYS CONTACT US ON THIS ADDRESS OR PHONE OR FAX NUMBER!
