6 Michigan t o Mont ana Corridor Proj ect US DOE select ed proj ect - funded $4.9M (wit h mat ching part icipant cost share) Proj ect began June 2017 wit h 60 t rucks and 15 alt ernat ive fueling st at ions commit t ed I-94 Project Goals: o Creat e a compet ent and experienced t eam t o guide t he creat ion of an alt ernat ive fuel corridor t o: Deploy select ed st at ions and vehicles t o fill ident ified gaps Provide educat ion/ t raining t o est ablish a sust ainable alt ernat ive fuel and advanced vehicle market Significant ly grow t he availabilit y and use of alt ernat ive fuels and advanced vehicles in market s crit ical for long-t erm success of t hese t echnologies Creat e a 15% increase in pet roleum displacement wit hin each Clean Cit ies Coalit ion geographic area Develop and deploy a t emplat e t hat can be used around t he count ry t o help ot her corridors t o be expanded A competent team and well designed plan ensures the M2M Corridor will expand beyond the end of the project term.

7 Significance of I-94 Corridor o Key int ernat ional t rade rout e connect ing t he Great Lakes and t he Int ermount ain regions, covering 1,500 miles, wit h over 18 billion vehicle miles t raveled annually o The population of people in the counties that are crossed by the I-94 Corridor is over 16.8 million o Over a dozen nat ional park sit es and 230 t ruck st ops o 5 milit ary bases o 24 maj or count ies o Significant number of alternative fuel stations already exist along I-94 corridor (690 Level 2 EVSE, 87 DC Fast Chargers, 36 CNG stations, 72 propane stations)
