2 Climate Action - Facebook In 2011, Facebook moved its staff from Palo Alto to its new nine- building campus in Menlo Park, bringing with it the company s goals of creating an open and connected world, while conducting business in a healthy, sustainable work environment and providing a world- class alternative commute program. There are no private offices or cubicles. We tore down those unnecessary walls, creating a much more productive, energy- efficient environment per employee (155 sf/person vs Sun s sf/person). Between 2011 and 2012, the interiors of the eight main buildings (approx. 1M sq ft) were completely renovated to achieve LEED Gold Commercial Interiors, the largest LEED Gold project in Menlo Park to date. In 2012 we won multiple transportation awards, including Gold Status as a bicycle- friendly business from the American League of Cyclists. In Q4 2012, we instituted on- site waste separation that increased our recycling and compost rate to 80%. In keeping with LEED Gold guidelines, we ve achieved the following reductions on the now- completed campus. The environmental benefits to the community are numerous. Compared to how the campus was used by the prior tenants, Facebook has achieved significant reductions in water use, energy use, greenhouse gas emissions, and waste. The following statistics highlight our achievements. 50+% reduction indoor water use 60% reduction outdoor water use Low- flow fixtures/aerators Adoption of Bay- Friendly Efficient cafeteria dishwashing Landscaping; lawn removal; Low- volume toilets efficient, weather- based irrigation 15-20% energy reduction CO2 reductions per person Energy- efficient lighting and ballasts: Before (SUN): 3.32 MT/CO2/yr LEDs, fluorescents (T- 8 s) After (FB): MT/CO2/yr Lighting sensors in conference rooms Window film HVAC controls, commissioning, BMS controls Renewable Energy- Cogenra Solar Waste (compost, recycling) 2012: Saved 34,714 kwh thermal 80% campus- wide waste & PV energy (equiv. to planting diversion 1229 trees for emissions reduction) 75% of construction materials Award- winning TDM program Healthy environment 40+% alternative commute Green janitorial program (shuttles, vanpools, bicycling) Integrated pest management Showers, lockers, bicycle storage Low/no VOC, healthy materials 25 EV Charging stations program campus- wide

3 + Sustainable Buildings: Facebook Recycled railings, doors windows, Efficient, collaborative workspace Before: Large swath of lawn After: Bay-Friendly Landscaping and recycled pavers + LEED best practices EV chargers; alternative commuting 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park From collaborative workspaces to Bay-Friendly Landscaping to an aggressive alternative transportation program, Facebook is focused on making it s new home highly efficient and sustainable.

4 Certificate of Compliance Certification Details: Enlite Table KI This product has been certified according to the GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Certification Program for Low Emitting Products Certificate No: Status: Certified Period: 06/ /2011 Restrictions: No Wood Finish Options Reference Standard: GGPS.001 GREENGUARD IAQ Standard for Building Materials, Finishes, and Furnishings Product Type: Furniture Components/Materials, Seating, and Free Standing Furniture and Furnishing Units TVOC¹ Formaldehyde Total Aldehydes² Individual VOCs³ 4-phenylcyclohexene Criteria Allowable Limits 0.25 mg/m³ ppm 0.05 ppm 0.1 TLV mg/m³ Listing of measured carcinogens and reproductive toxins as identified by California Proposition 65, the U.S. National Toxicology Program (NTP), and the International Agency on Research on Cancer (IARC) must be provided. Any pollutant regulated as a primary or secondary outdoor air pollutant must meet a concentration that will not generate an air concentration greater than that promulgated by the National Ambient Air Quality Standard (U.S. EPA, code of Federal Regulations, Title 40, Part 50). See referenced standard for a complete technical explanation. ¹ Defined to be the total response of measured VOCs falling within the C6 C16 range, with responses calibrated to a toluene surrogate. ² Defined to be the total response of a target list of aldehydes (2-butenal; acetaldehyde; benzaldehyde; 2, 5-dimethylbenzaldehyde, 2-methylbenzaldehyde; 3-and/or 4-methylbenzaldehyde; butanal; 3-methylbutanal; formaldehyde; hexanal; pentanal; propanal), with each individually calibrated to a compound specific standard. ³ Any pollutant not listed must produce an air concentration level no greater than 1/10 the Threshold Limit Value (TLV) industrial work place standard (Reference: American Conference of Government Industrial Hygienists, 6500 Glenway, Building D-7, Cincinnati, Ohio ). Complies with ANSI/BIFMA X , ANSI/BIFMA M , and BIFMA e Credit for Furniture. GREENGUARD Certification affirms that products meet the criteria of the referenced standard and the requirements of the specific certification program. Certification testing is conducted according to a consistent, defined protocol. The testing does not evaluate emissions under usage conditions other than those defined in the protocol and does not address potential environmental impact other than chemical and particle emissions. The GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI) is an industry independent, third-party certification organization that qualifies products for low chemical emissions. GREENGUARD Certification programs use defined product standards, test methodologies, product sample collection and handling procedures, program application processes and on-going verification procedures. GREENGUARD standards, methods, and procedures are available at GREENGUARD Environmental Institute GGPC.001D

6 LEED Specifications Sheet The following information provides the documentation necessary for your LEED project. Project Information Project Name: LEED Version: Concrfete Mix Collection Do not know/other Project Notes: LEED Credits Product: Brushed Backing: GlasBac Tile Square yards of carpet: 0.0 Material price per square yard: 0.0 MR Credit 4 Recycled Content 56% Pre-Consumer / Post-Industrial 4% Post-Consumer The recycled content value is undetermined because the yardage and/or price were not entered. MR Credit 5 Regional Materials: Extracted, Processed & Manufactured Regionally InterfaceFLOR carpet is manufactured in LaGrange, Georgia Calcium carbonate, 14% by total product weight, extracted in Sylacauga, Alabama EQ 3.2 Construction IAQ Management Plan: Before Occupancy Option 2: Air Testing InterfaceFLOR carpet does not contain styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) latex backing, and therefore the test for 4-Phenylcyclohexene (4- PCH) is not required. EQ 4.1 Low Emitting Materials: Adhesives & Sealants InterfaceFLOR s Grid-Set Green Glue 2000, Grid-Set 2500, Adhesive 2100 and TacTiles contain zero calculated VOCs (g/l). The South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) Rule #1168 VOC Limit for Indoor Carpet Adhesives = 50g/L less water. EQ 4.3 Low Emitting Materials: Carpet Systems Styles using GlasBac and GlasBacRE backing are registered to the CRI Green Label Plus program as GLP0820. Grid-Set adhesives & TacTiles meet the requirements of EQ 4.1. If your InterfaceFLOR carpet reaches at least 5% of the total project material cost, you can apply for this Innovation in Design credit. Innovation In Design Climate Neutral Materials & Products The ruling was written for projects using the CI v2.0 rating system. Project teams and reviewers may refer to the ruling (LEED Interpretations Inquiry Number: 1541) for projects using other rating systems if reasonable and appropriate. Innovation in Design credits must be submitted for approval in all LEED Canada projects. The use of carpet certified to NSF-140 may be eligible for an Innovation In Design credit.a point may be earned if GlasBac or NexStep Gold carpet backings represent at least 2.5% of the total project material cost.
