Cedar Street Morrilton, Arkansas to observe and sample the washout bay and pit of the previous owner of the property, Premium Pipe and Supply, L.P. Upon arrival it was noticed that the area around the pit and washout bay was fenced and the area within the fence was well vegetated. In the washout bay there was an accumulation of solids approximately 18 inches in depth, and multiple totes of chemicals with no lids and unknown fluids inside the totes. The liner was observed to be in good condition with no holes or tears. There was fluid in the pit along with algae and aquatic life. We took water quality readings of D.O. (dissolved oxygen), conductivity, and ph from the fluid inside the pit and all readings came back within normal ranges (Photos 5, 7, 8). We also took samples of liquid in the pit and tested for Chlorides, sulfates, total dissolved solids, total suspended solids, oil and grease, and total petroleum hydrocarbons and all were within normal ranges. (see attached results) GENERAL COMMENTS There was approximately 18 inches of solids in the washout bay. The reserve pit held approximately 49 ½ inches of solids in the bottom, with approximately 22 ½ inches of water, and approximately a 24 inch free board.
