5 Akfen Water s Water and Waste Water Sector Akfen Water Güllük Güllük Municipality Water and Waste Water Plants Construction and Operation Concession The first and the only Municipal Water Utilities Concession of Turkey approved by the Council of State and the Ministry of Interior. The scope of the concession includes the construction, maintenance and operation of the water and waste water utilities of Güllük Municipality for a term of 35 years. Rehabilitation, renewal and maintenance investments of the water and waste water infrastructure and facilities that have been taken over is being done by Akfen Water Güllük. 6 Akfen Water s Water and Waste Water Sector Akfen Water Dilovası Dilovası OIZ Waste Water Treatment Plant and Main Collector Line BOT In 2007, Akfen Water Dilovası undertook the construction, financing and operation of industrial and municipal waste water treatment facilities in Dilovası Organized Industrial Zone with a 29 years term Built-operate-Transfer ( BOT ) contract for serving Dilovası Town, with a population of 40,000 people, and over 200 industrial plants and factories operating in Dilovası Organized Industrial Zone. 7 Akfen Water s Waste and Environmental Sector IDO Solid Waste and Environmental Management İstanbul Fast Ferries Co. ( IDO ) Waste and Environmental Management Services In 2012 Akfen Water developed and started to implement Solid Waste and Environmental Management Model for Istanbul Fast Ferries Co. according to the special requirements of the sizable maritime operations of its client. Providing all on and off site services for hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, collection, sorting, temporary storage, transportation, recycling and waste disposal, Akfen Water achieved a great success in establishing a comprehensive waste management and environmental consulting services to IDO. Since 2012 Akfen Water has continued to provide waste management services to IDO with 6 blue collered personell and one environmental engineer. Following the expiry of each contract, IDO conducts competetive tender process and Akfen Water has managed to secure the contract in each of these tenders. Current contract of Akfen Water will expire in Waste and Environmental Management Services covering 55 vessels, 35 terminals, offices and workshops 500 ton/year Hazardous and Non- Hazardous Waste Recycle and Disposal Serving in all Cycles of Waste Management behind a major maritime transportation operation (48 million passengers and 9 million vehicles transported per year)

8 Akfen Water s Waste and Environmental Sector Mersin International Port Waste Management Mersin Uluslararası Liman İşletmeciliği A.Ş. (MIP) Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste Collection Services Akfen Su delivers recovery and disposal services for all hazardous and non-hazardous wastes from the port area, at the MIP, the biggest import and export port of Turkey. The wastes received at the port operation field are loaded and transported using Akfen Su teams and equipment, and are transported to the licensed storage areas in the district for recycling and disposal purposes, with licensed vehicles and drivers with relevant certificates and training. The follow-up and reporting of all hazardous and non-hazardous wastes according to their quantities, types, and volumes is being done by Akfen Water. Service agreement for 5 years has been signed in 2016 and operations commenced. Within this scope, Akfen Water delivers uninterrupted and round the clock Waste Management Services for Isparta City Hospital. To achieve this, Akfen Su is responsible for the following: (i) Procurement of machinary, equipment and consumables (ii) Establishment of a waste management staff team and operation methodolgy. (iii) Management of all waste management processes (iv) Follow up and reporting of wastes' quantities, types, and volumes.
