INPEX CORPORATION With oil and natural gas as the core of our business, INPEX CORPORATION is growing into an integrated energy company that provides a stable energy supply for communities. The company is playing a significant role in boosting the supply of energy to Japan while contributing to local economic growth and development. Global oil and gas exploration and production company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan Involved in over 70 projects Across more than 20 countries 150 INPEX is ranked in the top 150 global energy companies and is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange

INPEX IN AUSTRALIA Present in Australia since 1986, INPEX is active in the Timor Sea and the Carnarvon, Browse and Bonaparte Basins. Our Australian portfolio includes the world-class Ichthys LNG Project and participating interests in Bayu-Undan/ Darwin LNG, Prelude FLNG and Van Gogh projects and the development of the Ravensworth, Coniston and Kitan oil fields. These projects represent investments of billions of dollars and comprise joint ventures forging dynamic and exciting alliances. Will Power is at the heart of our values, serving as a foundation for how we work together, at every INPEX site, in every part of the world.

ICHTHYS LNG PROJECT Ichthys LNG Project is effectively three mega projects in one incorporating some of the world s largest and most advanced offshore facilities off the Western Australian coast, massive onshore processing facilities near Darwin in the Northern Territory and an 890 kilometre subsea pipeline to unite them. It is one of the few mega projects worldwide that incorporates the whole chain of development and production components: subsea, offshore, pipeline and onshore. Located about 220 kilometres off the northern coast of Western Australia, Ichthys represents the largest discovery of hydrocarbon liquids in Australia in nearly 50 years. The Project is expected to produce up to approximately 8.9 million tonnes of LNG and 1.6 million tonnes of LPG per annum, along with more than 100,000 barrels of condensate per day, at peak. The Project is a joint venture between INPEX (operator), major partner Total, CPC Corporation Taiwan and the Australian subsidiaries of Tokyo Gas, Osaka Gas, Kansai Electric Power, JERA and Toho Gas. Contributing more than A$ 16 billion from the construction phase alone into the Australian economy 40 years multi-generational employment opportunities expected in Western Australia and the Northern Territory

OFFSHORE PIPELINE ONSHORE Ichthys Explorer, the Project s central processing facility (CPF) the world s largest semi-submersible platform will support hydrocarbon processing systems. After initial processing, most of the condensate will be transferred to Ichthys Venturer, the floating production, storage and offloading facility (FPSO) for offshore processing. The southern hemisphere s longest subsea pipeline (890 kilometres) will deliver the natural gas and some condensate from the Ichthys Explorer CPF to the onshore LNG processing facilities near Darwin in the Northern Territory of Australia. The state-of-the-art onshore LNG processing facilities at Bladin Point near Darwin will cool the gas delivered via the pipeline and then transform it into liquid to reduce its volume for transport. LPG and some condensate will also be provided. 7 NON-OPERATOR PROJECTS Prelude FLNG INPEX holds a 17.5 per cent interest in the Shell-operated project. The Prelude Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) Project is located approximately 475 kilometres North-North East of Broome, Western Australia. The facility is anticipated to stay moored at location for 25 years, and is expected to produce 3.6 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of LNG, 1.3 mtpa of condensate and 0.4 mtpa of LPG. It will be Shell s first deployment of its FLNG technology which allows for the production, liquefaction, storage and transfer of LNG at sea, and the ability to process and export LPG and condensate. Bayu-Undan / Darwin LNG INPEX holds a per cent interest in the ConocoPhillips-operated project. Bayu-Undan is an offshore gas and condensate field in the Joint Petroleum Development Area of the Timor Sea, about 240 kilometres south of the Timor-Leste capital of Dili. Gas travels through a 502 kilometre pipeline from the Bayu-Undan Field to Darwin in the Northern Territory, where it is converted to LNG and shipped to international markets. The plant has an annual LNG production capacity of about 3.7 million tonnes per annum. Since 2006, an average of one cargo per week has been safely shipped to customers. Coniston INPEX holds a per cent interest in the Quadrant Energy-operated project. Coniston is one of two projects in which INPEX is associated with Quadrant Energy the other is the Van Gogh Project. The Coniston Project is a relatively new subsea oil field development, located offshore Exmouth, Western Australia. Development of the Coniston Oil Field started in late 2011 and first oil production was in May The field has a nominal production capacity of 63,000 barrels of oil per day. Kitan INPEX holds a 35 per cent interest in the Eni-operated project. Kitan is an oil field in the Joint Petroleum Development Area of the Timor Sea. Production from Kitan started in October 2011 and suspended in The Project has achieved between 35,000 and 40,000 barrels per day during peak production. Van Gogh INPEX holds a 47.5 per cent interest in the Quadrant Energy-operated project. The Van Gogh oil field is located 53 kilometres north-west off the coast of Exmouth, in Western Australia. Production started in 2010 and is tracking at 40,000 barrels of oil per day. Ravensworth INPEX holds a 28.5 per cent interest in the BHP Billiton-operated project. The Ravensworth Project is located about 45 kilometres off the coast of Exmouth, in Western Australia. Crude oil production from the Ravensworth field started in 2010, and currently is at 10,000 barrels of oil per day.

COMMUNITY At INPEX, we are proud of our record of harmonious work in the communities in which we operate and for achieving commercial success while maintaining our commitment to corporate social responsibility. In Australia, we are committed to the Northern Territory, Western Australia and the wider nation through a range of community support programs and sponsorships.
