4 s and Certificates Thank you for your interest in Global Solutions products and technologies. At PER, we are dedicated to serve the world as the provider of unique, cutting-edge technologies that are unparalleled in their capabilities. PER technologies are the recipient of many prestigious awards and recognitions presented by various Korean government agencies. PER s mission is to become the world s leading provider of clean waste to energy technologies while keeping a cleaner environment as our vision and focus. PER offers unique technologies that can safely dispose of residential, commercial, industrial and even toxic wastes in mass amounts. When the waste is processed, the facilities generate forms of renewed energy. The use of indirect heat during the CETRA-ES process prevents emissions from being released into the atmosphere. Global warming is no longer a regional issue but an international concern. Every country in compliance with various environmental regulations is kept under constant vigil monitored 24 hours a day via satellite for carbon dioxide discharge. Furthermore, green technology is becoming a priority in the agenda of global leaders. We ask for the opportunity to address the world s waste disposal issues. With our innovative technologies, we are committed in fighting for a cleaner Earth for all of humanity. Thank you. 5 Our Need for Proper Waste Disposal and Recycling Methods Waste Management is a Global Concern Waste management is a serious concern not only for our country but for all countries around the globe. Due to environmental issues such as soil contamination and saturation of landfills that are caused by the growing volumes of waste, incineration has become the primary method of waste treatment. However, opposition to incineration facilities face difficulties in pollutant discharges, enormous budget requirements and the opposition to incinerators from local residents. Consequently, the introduction of an environmentally responsible waste management technology that overcomes the limitations of landfills and incineration facilities is desperately needed to address the environmental concerns that arise from existing waste management techniques. PROTECTING*THE*ENVIRONMENT Today's(Waste(Recycling(and(Treatment(Methods Nations Set Restrictions on Greenhouse Gas Emissions The current high levels of emissions in our environment is a result of more than 150 years of industrial activity among developed nations, yet increased restrictions on carbon discharges place a greater need for nations to turn to cleaner alternatives in all industries. The 2009 Clean Energy and Security Act set a declining cap on greenhouse gas emissions at 17% below 2005 levels by 2020 and 83% by Other nations have also been actively making efforts to minimize greenhouse gas discharges since various global initiatives and regulations were put into enforcement. The CETRA-ES system is a tool in which can help protect the environment in the waste management industry. Method Landfills Incineration General Pyrolysis and Alternative Technologies Recycling Issue Landfills are known environmental hazards, are inefficient and are limited in their capacities Incineration basically involves burning garbage. This method is now being phased out by authorities due to their severe damage on the environment and being notoriously unfeasible economically All alternative technologies to date have shown the same limitations. They have proven to be limited in their treatment capacities and inefficient in their production of resources which conclusively have made them economically inefficient Mechanical and chemical recycling degrades the quality of resources, proven to be limited technically and be economically inefficient

6 From Waste to Energy The Special Value of CETRA-ES CETRA-ES WASTE TREATMENT PROCESSOR Understanding the CETRA-ES technology The world s landfills get closer and closer to reaching capacity. More and more incinerators are being regulated and shut down. In recent years, the great potential of energy held within the garbage we were simply dumping has become an interest. The CETRA-ES technology was developed while striving to address all of those factors. This advanced method of waste disposal not only tackles garbage, it provides a sustainable method in which it can be done in an eco-friendly manner all while producing clean energy that can be consumed in our everyday lives. With the volatile pricing of crude oil, electric power is proving to be the more stable resource in the marketplace. The CETRA-ES maximizes power production with the ability to generate 2.5 or even 10 MW/h of power from a single system. MBT SRF Tornado Combustor 2.5 MW/h of power or more Renewed Energy Ecomomic Value Tornado Combustor Reduction of initial investment No landfills Needed No environmental Hazards What is the CETRA-ES technology? The CETRA-ES technology implements a Tornado combustion system that was developed over the course of 35 years with today s environmental and energy issues in mind. All incoming wastes are processed then input into the system for treatment. The CETRA-ES system converts those wastes into electricity or heat/steam. Furthermore, our facilities do not require a landfill for secondary disposal. Compared to environmental factors of other disposal methods the CETRA-ES is clearly in a class of its own. 8 Waste&to&Energy&Technology&Comparison Method Analysis Feasibility Stoke Inchineration Introduced to the world as waste treatment option in the 1960 s, this method basically involves simply buming garbage in a fumace Not feasible ECONOMIC&EXCELLENCE The CETRA-ES is capable of treating mass amounts each day of combustible waste streams and generate high amounts of electric power. Kiln Incineration Fluidized-Bed incineration Shaft Plasma CETRA-ES This method utilizes a kiln shaped furnace, utilizes an outer heat source. The process generates high amounts of residuals, which for the most part, need to be landfilled upon treatment This method involves utilization of solid fuels an air in its combustion process. Additional facilites would be required for treatment of polymer material such as vinyl and plastics and for energy recovery. The ash this method creates. which consists of arsenic acid, is highly hazardous. This method involves pre-heating of the fluidized bed portion, dropping input wastes onto a gasification layer. Various materials such as Cokes, limestone and wastes are treated generated gases are refined, oils are separted and refined and applied in engines. The oil can used in steam production but additional attachments are necessary. This method utilizes electricity to generate extreme temperatures of 10,000 o C for treatment of water. Such systems incorporate attachments to perform recovery of iron or treat low level radioactive waste materials. Additional attachment are necessary for such Optimal combustion efficiency, optimal thermal efficency, minimal hazardous discharges, no additional attachments necessary Not feasible Not feasible Not ideal Not ideal IDEAL CETRA-ES CETRA-ES utilizes an All-In-One Combustion technology. While other methods require a separate combustion chamber, which causes heat loss and thermal inefficiency, the All-In-One Combustion featured on the CETRA-ES system promotes maximized residence times, maintaining of high temperatures efficiently and eliminating heat loss concerns. 12
