9 A sustainable model based on the development of high added value service activities Vision Zenata Eco-City is a public utility project aiming to rebalance Greater Casablanca Region by creating a new urban center based on social cohesion, economic development and environmental protection Green space 470 ha, representing 30% of the territory Jobs 100,000 jobs Inhabitant 300,000 inhabitants Middle income families with revenues between MAD 10k and MAD 20k per month (c. $1,000 c. $2,000m) 4 High-value added areas Health center Education center Retail center Logistic center

19 Strong Support from International Institutions and Added Value Resettlement Resettlement Policy Framework The project involves the resettlment of households living in slums under national legal frameworks: Resettlement documents «Relogement»: providing an appartment with dedicated financing facilities Resettlement Action Plan «Recasement»: providing a land plot at low prices dedicated to the constuction of 3 level buildings, with the financial contribution of a «third party» added value: give the choice to slum households between both options CPR consultation 4 «Open Doors Day» (each year) and focus groups Public Consultation items EIA consultation Development plan consultation 03/05/ European Investment Bank
