3 Proposed Variation No. The Proposed Variation Westport Town Council & Mayo County Council proposes to vary Map and Map of the Westport Town & Environs Development Plan to reroute the proposed road corridor north of Westport Town (N5 Westport to Turlough Road Project) at the townlands of Attireesh, Carrowbeg, Deerpark East, Drummindoo, Gortaroe, Knockranny and Monamore and to amend the land use zoning accordingly. The proposed road corridor and lands that it is proposed to rezone to facilitate the rerouting are indicated on the two maps attached: Map V-0 shows the existing Proposed as shown in the Westport Town & Environs Development Plan 00-06) and the proposed amended Road Corridor. It is proposed to vary the corridor north of the existing N5, along with a small portion south of the existing N5 at Knockranny. The remainder of the Proposed south of the existing N5 to Carrownalurgan will remain unchanged. Map V-0 shows the consequential zoning changes that are required to facilitate the proposed amended road corridor. Map IO-0 and IO-0 of the Westport Town & Environs Development Plan will be amended to reflect the revised road corridor if the proposed amendment is made. Please note that the remainder of the lands zoned for development in the Westport Town & Environs Development Plan (as previously varied) will remain the same. Submission Information If you wish to make a written submission which refers to a particular piece of land please include a legible map marking the land you are referring on the map (e.g. outline the land clearly in red) and indicate in writing on the map the townland the land is located in. Otherwise it may not be possible to deal with the submission.
