LARGE HIGH PERFORMANCE TURBINES TGM ARE REFERENCE IN THE GLOBAL ENERGY SCENARIO Four TGM turbines generate a total of 172 MW at Cerradinho Bioenergia - Chapadão do Céu, GO - Brazil SAFETY, EFFICIENCY AND OPERATIONAL AVAILABILITY IN TURBINES, GEARBOXES AND SERVICES info@tgminternational.com GRUPOTGM.COM.BR

Global efficiency levels fall into cogeneration plants using steam turbines The global energy sector has gone through major restructuring in recent years, due to growing demand for electricity and the intense search for self-sufficiency in major players. The index shows that the industries that use natural resources such as biomass to power generate and cogenerate electricity as remunerative source are becoming reference because they use large turbines to enhance the process. With boiler projects and high-efficiency turbines operating at high levels of pressure and temperature in Brazil and abroad, the Brazilian multinational TGM has been growing in the list of major world suppliers of equipment for these industries and it is becoming responsible for running small, medium and large thermal plants. As a developer of power generation projects, the company values efficiency, safety and operational availability. "The three pillars form the foundation of our company, and especially the recognition of our customers on more than 1,000 machines we have manufactured and sold worldwide," says a TGM director, Antonio Gallati. "The continuous search for self-sufficiency and to export energy surplus is the driving force from steam turbines on small and large projects. An example of this is the suppling of thousands of turbines and many machines operating in the range of 50 to 65 MW of power for customers around the world," says Mr. Gallati. 100% TGM Power Pressure Temperature Model Drive MW psia O F CTE 50 Generator CTE 50 Generator TM 35000A Generator TM 35000A Generator

Cerradinho complete project Chapadão do Céu, GO (Brazil) is of 172 MW "We are on the way of expansion of our cogeneration capacity and we have installed high efficiency equipment. We have applied new concepts with the standardization of TGM condensing turbines, which have excellent technology and great quality service, "said Fernando Tersi, director of Agroindustrial Cerradinho Bioenergy. TGM Turbo Gearbox Set - SuperTurbo with TGM Gear Flex, flexible coupling - is a unique solution in the market and specific to greater flexibility and efficiency of large generators of 4 poles. Besides the four TGM turbines to generate electricity, Cerradinho Unit, GO, installed in 2016, a planetary TGM G3 Full to be part of the energy efficiency of the plant.

Mastery in turbines, gearboxes and services makes TGM a market benchmark TGM technological developments consolidate new concepts for the development of the sugarcane industry to be even more globally competitive. Four turbines went into operation, two of 60 MW at Odebrecht (Brazil) and two in Guatemala, a 50 MW one at Ingenio Palo Gordo and a 65 MW in a nickel company. The Agroindustrial Odebrecht project - Eldorado Unit in Rio Brilhante, MS, received the application of new concepts for energy generation with regenerative cycle and TGM participated in the development and installation of this technology successfully. Despite of resulting in higher export of electricity and more efficiency to the plant, the whole process provided greater stability, flexibility and operational availability as well as reduced operational cost. In addition to traditional electricity generation machines, TGM is the one that most installed equipment for mechanical drives of up to 4 MW. Turbines for Generators of two poles: the evolution in power generation At Palo Gordo, the 50 MW condensing turbine is of 1522 psia steam inlet (a) and a temperature of 998 F. The machine has extraction control and has been used on generators of two poles. The plant already has a TGM Turbine of 33 MW cogenerating for its own consumption and the surplus is sold to the power network of the country. With the operation of this new turbine, the customer showed total satisfaction with the new equipment, it fully meets the company's needs. This reinforces the commitment TGM has in offering quality equipment with the most advanced technology, seeking the satisfaction of customers worldwide. Guatemala received another TGM Condensation Turbine model CT 63 of 65 MW, to power the industrial process, in a nickel company. This was the largest steam turbine manufactured in Latin America with 100% Brazilian technology. Because it is a direct generator drive, the turbine speed is of 3,600 rpm. This feature aims higher plant fuel economy; whose project has a regenerative cycle composed of multiple steam outlet for the reheating of boiler feed water. 5 Turbines for generators of four poles The installation of turbines in four poles generators have also been a trend in international plants. There are turbines in operation in San Carlos, Ecuador, model BT 50 of 44 MW and a BT 32 of 23 MW in San Jacinto Glory Group, Peru. According to the factory superintendent in San Carlos, Manuel Aguilar, the installation brought efficiency improvement. "The result of this installation shows stability improvement in operation, 100% availability of power in drives of mills that were not affected by the steam variations and, most important, the export of electricity to the national power network". The operation in the Agroindustrias San Jacinto S.A.A. also improved efficiency by 25%. "This result has allowed us to continue with an electrification project of the mills, water pumps and exhaust induced by our boilers, i.e, the TGM has met our expectations," said the superintendent factory, Victor Cano Ramórez. In the last half of 2015, TGM sold a turbine BTE 50 of 50 MW with a four poles generator for Ingenio Azucarero Adolfo López Mateos of PIASA Group in Mexico. This turbine is being manufactured in Sertãozinho, SP and the delivery will be this year.

TGM authorized service center facilities Stronger Export The structure of TGM abroad provides advantages in customized and emergency assistance. This reflects positively on reducing costs, increases operational availability and ensures complete confidence and security to its customers. Authorized Workshops around the world perform services and provide parts for TGM turbines and gearboxes or for other manufacturers with a 24/7 and 365 days a year service. Some services were carried out by TGM in La Grecia (Honduras), in Pantaleon Monte Rosa (Nicaragua), in Arauco (Argentina) and also in other countries. The services that stand out are the whole turbine machining, blade support machining, recovery of the posterior labyrinth bushings diameter, reinstallation in field, startup, general services in field, blades replacement and rotor replacement. This is TGM, a Brazilian company that grows stronger worldwide, contributing to the market by developing new technology, products and service. Map indicates where the Authorized Workshops are Since 1999, the beginning of exports, TGM has installed around 265 turbines worldwide. In Latin America alone, more than 160 units were exported. Here is a testimony from a nickel company employee expressing his satisfaction with TGM products and services. "In our Thermal Power Station plant, a CT turbine 63 is operating successfully; we are pleased with the work done by TGM", said the head of turbine maintenance department. Gearboxes exports also follow the same rhythm. In these 24 years of activities, TGM has exported 130 planetary gearboxes for many countries. TGM is in full harmony with the green energy concept by developing, manufacturing, installing and operating its machines. "Companies around the world increase the production of sustainable energy, driven mainly by governmental agreements on the reduction of conventional energy; TGM actively participates in the manufacturing of equipment for the reduction of environmental impacts," said the international trade manager of TGM, Samuel Garcia. Planetary Gearbox G3 Full crossing borders Following the same path of Brazilian industries, sugar and ethanol plants abroad have been buying TGM planetary gearboxes G3 Full to drive their mills. The latest acquisitions were made by the following companies: El Angel (El Salvador), La Corona and Los Balkans (Argentina), Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos (Dominican Republic). These companies will strengthen their processes and reduce costs for maintenance and operation. This is possible only because the planetary gearbox G3 Full features compact structure, robustness, low cost of civil work and low maintenance, ensuring greater efficiency, safety and operational availability compared to other types of drives.
