9 UNESCO may encourage Two rivers(imjin, Bukhan) shared by North Korea and South Korea flow from the north to the south Imjin river : 8,117.5 km2 (the north 63%, the south 37%) Bukhan river : 10,834.8 km2 (the north 58 %, the south 42 %)

13 Sustainable Water Security for Human Settlements; in Developing Countries under Climate Change This research project is to provide a long-term master plan in city level(or province) for the selected Member States to address water security challenges for human settlements under climate change, which is based on the agreement between UNESCO and Republic of Korea Time and budget Budget Beneficiaries 10-year plan 3.13 mil. USD in total 20 Member States Annual plan 300 thousand USD (150 thousand USD / one Member State) 2 Member States (1 in Asia and 1 in Africa)
