3 INTRODUCTION CANAAN ENGINEERING PVT.LTD Canaan Engineering Pvt. Ltd. has its roots in S.K. Fabricators, a proprietary concern, initiated in 1995 by Mr. Victor Baby. From its humble beginnings, S.K. Fabricators grew with quantum leaps year after year in the field of re-tubing, maintenance of heat -exchangers and fabrication of critical equipments, to name a few. Canaan Engineering Private Limited had its inception in 2005 with a vision of establishing a world class manufacturing facility in close vicinity of Mumbai. It boasts of a dedicated and qualified workforce suppor ted by sophisticated and precise equipments that ensure consistency in the quality and timely completion of projects. Mr.K L Mukhija, having a versatile experience of 39 years in L&T, has recently joined the company as a full time Director and stake holder. In just nine years the company has not only created a niche in the field of critical fabrication with exotic materials and complicated designs, but has also established major clientele both within India and globally. It has gained a reputation of dependa bility and assured quality with all clients. The company has achieved a compounded growth of 30% with the support and confidence of esteemed and demanding customers like Larsen and Toubro Limited, Reliance Industries, Godrej and many more. The company specialises in the manufacture of heat -exchangers, pressure vessels, boilers and surface condensers with a variety of configurations and materials to meet all process requirements. It has vast experience in re-furbishing and maintenance of heat -exchangers used in refineries, petrochemical industry, fertiliser plants, power plants, etc. Page 3 of 15
