1 HCOR Filter Hydrocarbon and Contaminants Removal Filter Vault and Substructure De-Watering System DESCRIPTION Product No.: HCOR Filters, containing proprietary separation technology, are a revolutionary advancement in water treatment and vault dewatering operations. HCOR Filters are comprised of a proprietary formulation that uses natural disposable nano-materials to effectively remove over 90% of the 126 EPA listed priority pollutants from utility vaults and substructures. HCOR Filters use proprietary oleophilic natural nanotechnology incorporating EPA registered ingredients that remove impurities from standing water found in utility vaults and substructures. HCOR Filters are formaldehyde free, safe and easy to apply. HCOR Filters are best used in areas of standing water. The formulation is non-staining and must be disposed of appropriately. Incineration is a viable option for Filters that are contaminated by hazardous waste above regulatory thresholds. HCOR Filters were developed for use by Electric and Gas utilities, telecommunications, subways or any entity that has underground vaults, in their routine de-watering operations. This cutting edge nanotechnology is designed to reduce or eliminate the use of expensive vacuum trucks and minimize the costs associated with staff waiting for the arrival of the vacuum trucks. Once the vault waters (known waste stream) are properly characterized this device should effectively eliminate the need for a high percentage of vacuum trucks as the effluent can be disposed of down sewage drains. It has been scientifically proven at major southern California utilities vaults, with a high degree of success. Over 90% of the 126 items identified in the US EPA Priority Pollutant list were removed at efficiencies of over 97% at 125 gallons per minute. Once used the filters must be disposed of properly. The filters are not indicated for reuse. PROPERTIES Pillows contain white solid material similar to talc or flour in consistency Filter Weight dry: 4.0 kilograms Shelf Life: at ambient temperature 36 months Each HCOR filter can be used for up to 6,000 gallons with a pump rate up to 125 gallons per minute or 0.8 hours Each Filter is enclosed in a waterproof carrying case For use with a standard 2 inch portable pump and up to 25 feet of hose Packaged and sold individually in a water proof carrying bag Other configurations are available upon request HCOR Filters -- Part Number ,

6 PRE-PREPARATION No prior preparation is required when using the HCOR Filter. APPLICATION TOOLS APPLICATION PROCEDURES For HCOR Filters Attach the HCOR Filter to an appropriate length of hose and a portable submersible pump that has a cam-lock quick connect attachment. The portable pump must be rated at 125 gpm. Prime and turn on the water pump until the vault is dry. Remove the HCOR Filter and inspect for silt accumulation. Once the filter is used, disposed of properly. This filter will destruct if operated improperly. PRODUCT APPLICATION This product may be used in any vault or substructure with standing water unless the water is frozen. HCOR Filters are supplied ready-to-use for application to any dewatering operation. PRECAUTIONS HCOR Filters are completely natural and green. No special precautions are required before or after the application. The dry filter contains material that has the consistency of flour or talc. CLEAN UP Dispose of all waste according to all existing local, state and federal regulations. Incineration is recommended if the waters are at hazardous waste levels. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Avoid breathing of dust First Aid Procedures Inhalation: Not considered a source of entry Eye Contact: Open eyelids and flush with copious quantities of water for at least 20 minutes. If irritation persists, see a physician. Skin contact: Wash with soap and water. Ingestion: Not considered a source of entry HMIS Rating: Health: 0 Flammability: 0 Physical Hazard: 0 Personal Protection: A HCOR Filters -- Part Number ,
