10 GNF also supplies gas to small & medium size final consumers: industrial, CNG and residential MAD LNG for Satellite Plants Retail and City Gas Distribution networks Gas for Transportation Value added use of regas terminals GNF constructs and operates LNG satellite plants for individual industrial customers Over 50% of LNG at satellite plants in Spain are supplied by GNF: 0,7 Mtpa in 2014 (18,676 cisterns) GNF is the owner and operator of more than 120,000 km of city gas distribution pipeline in Europe and Latin America, including the main capitals: Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Mexico DF, Santiago, Bogota It supplies gas through pipeline to residential, commercial, industrial and vehicles (CNG) (see below) Natural gas for vehicles (CNG) offers several advantages to improve the air quality in cities: CO 2 and particulate emission reduction Natural gas provides economic savings to users, and reduces dependency on petroleum GNF has a wide footprint of CNG service stations across Spain and Latin America Some of these stations are supplied with piped gas, others through satellite LNG plants GNF has experience in using regasification terminals for other value added services, such as: loading/reloading of LNG tankers, break-bulk, operation in proximity of CCGT plants and/or industrial complexes and bunkering as fuel for maritimetransport 9
