15 INNOVATING SUSTAINABLY SHARING BEAUTY WITH ALL PROMOTING BIODIVERSITY Raw materials: 46 % of new products uses renewable raw materials of plant origin Green chemistry: 22 % of our new raw materials comply with the principles of green chemistry Responsible sourcing; 100 % of our shea butter supplies comes from fair-trade sources Palm oil: 100 % of our palm oil supplies are certified sustainable ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION with priority given to water Our plants have reduced their consumption of water by re-use and recycling of water and by finding new cleaning solutions. We are formulating shampoo s that can be rinsed off with only one liter of water, compared to the current average of seven liters.

16 SHARING BEAUTY WITH ALL GLOBAL CO 2 neutral plants L Oréal s plants in Libramont (Belgium), Settimo (Italy), Burgos (Spain), Ychang (China), and Rambouillet (France) have already achieved a CO 2 emissions neutral status by the end of LOCAL Distribution Center Greve Denmark Dedicated work to reduce water, CO 2 emissions and waste. RAISING consumer awareness La Roche-Posayhas been proactively involved in the fight against skin cancer Free screenings by dermatologists people screened in more than 30 countries in 2014 Almost 1000 persons screened in Denmark in 2015

OUR GLOBAL AND LOCAL PHILANTROPY PROGRAMS For Women in Science In partnership with UNESCO, the For Women in Science program provides support for women researchers on all continents and at different points in their careers. Product donations to organizations L Oréal donates products to humanitarian organizations to support under privileged people. In Denmark, L Oréal supports the Look Good Feel Better association, the Red Cross, centrally and regionally, Girltalk.dk, Børnehjælpsdagen, Alexandrakollegiet, Danner Stiftelsen, Løkkefonden og andre.

With 8,000 corporate signatories in 145 countries, it is the world s largest voluntary corporate sustainability initiative. 5 % of corporate signatories have reached Advanced level in United Nations Global Compact.
