2 Office Complex at Plot No. 5A & 5B, Shopping Mall, Vasant Kunj Phase - II, New Delhi Developed by M/s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT The proposed proposed Office Complex is at Plot no. 5A & 5B, Shopping Mall, Vasant Kunj Phase - II, New Delhi.. The project will be developed by M/s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited. Project work has been done as per earlier Environmental Clearance only finishing work is remaining. Earlier Environment Clearance has been granted vide letter no. F.No. 3-19/2006 IA.III & F.No. 3-20/2006 IA.III dated 28th November 2006 for built up area sq m (excluding basement area of sq m). Earlier Non-FAR and basement is not included in Builtup area. Now we need revision in Environmental clearance due to revision in builtup area sq m (including non-far, basement area) which is less than Builtup area 1,50,000 sq m Hence, the proposed project falls under category 8 (a) of EIA notification, The amenities proposed in the complex will be Offices, meeting halls, conference halls, library, etc. The total population of the hotel has been estimated to be 2059 persons. The bifurcation is given below: Type Population Staff 2000 Visitors 4000 Total Population 6000 For proposed complex, total water requirement has been estimated as 359 KLD and will be met by tanker supply from delhi Jal board. Water shall be used mainly for domestic, flushing, D.G. cooling & gardening purposes. Total quantity of wastewater generation will be 150 KLD. The generated sewage will be treated in in-house Modular Sewage Treatment Plants of total capacity 180 KLD. The treated water shall be used for Flushing, D.G. cooling and gardening. The STP has been design with MBBR technology. Total 900 kg/day Municipal solid waste will be generating. Out of which 630 Kg/day of Bio- Degradable waste shall be treated in organic waste converter and converted to manure, 270 Kg/day of Recyclable Waste shall be given to Authorized Recycler. Among hazardous waste approx. 14 ltr/day of used oil generated from D.G. Set shall be collected in leak proof containers at isolated place and then it will be given to approved Consultant: Perfact EnviroSolutions Pvt., New Delhi

3 Office Complex at Plot No. 5A & 5B, Shopping Mall, Vasant Kunj Phase - II, New Delhi Developed by M/s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited vendor of CPCB as per Hazardous Wastes (Management, Handling and Transboundry Movement) Rules, 2008 and Amended till date & approx. 3 Kg/day of E-Waste generated will be disposed off through approved vendor of CPCB as per Electronic Wastes (Management & Handling) Rules, And STP Sludge generated will be passed through filter press where it will be dewatered/ dried to form a cake and then will be used as manure in green areas. The unused sludge shall be given to farmers or nursery. The estimated quantity of dried sludge will be approx. 7 kg/day. Total parking requirement is 1370 ECS and Total Parking provision is 1448 ECS. The proposed power requirement is about 4086 KW, which will be generated by gas turbine and supplied by BSES. For Power back-up D.G. set of capacity 1 x 2500 KVA. Hence, to avoid the emissions stack height of 6 m above roof level for shall be provided to reduce the air emissions meeting all the norms prescribed by CPCB. D.G. sets will be used during Power failure only. Total Green area of the residential colony is 7268 sqm i.e. 20 % of total plot area. It will be an environmentally sustainable project.
