Terms of use: POLYDOX small biological waste-water treatment plant is designed for communal sewage. Features of the plants are minimal energy consumption, low upkeep, stable and totally savourless technological working. The POLYDOX biological waste-water treatment plant can be installed by company dealing with installation of public utilities or by the technicians of POLYDUCT ZRT. The installation is made by a plan in accordance with the characteristics of the location made by POLYDUCT ZRT. or a commissioned technical designer who has the right to make it ) Construction of POLYDOX Waste water treatment plant POLYDOX 30 The outer flexible plastic frame has five parts: Pre-sedimentation cell Anaerob cell Aerob cell Post-sedimentation cell

4 POLYDOX Steps of the cleansing regarding POLYDOX 30: PRE-SEDIMENTATION The place of the mechanical cleansing. The function is to detach the scraggy contamination from the water, and to store the needless sludge that had been biologically demolished. ANAEROB cell AEROB cells This is the place of hydrolysis (one of the basic part of the biological demolition). The hard biodegradable materials can be transformed to easy biodegradable materials. The homogenizer placed in the anaerob cell promotes the denitrification process, and the nitrification also can be started. The whole biological demolition and nitrification is made in the two aerob cells which are equal sized. The inflow to the cell is made throw the fix contact elements. The biofilm is held on the PVC honeycomb modul unit placed in the polyethylene barrel, which are exchangeable and fixed to the bottom of the WWTP. The pump makes the water streaming vertically in the barrel. The circulation assures the oxygen and nutriment supply of the bio membrane. POST-SEDIMENTATION The function is to detach the sludge and the material that can be eluted. The recirculation of the eluted sludge is made by the pump that placed in the post-sedimentation cell. The recirculated sludge is placed in the aerob-cell. The sewage is moving gravitationally between the cells. The cleaned sewage also flowing out gravitationally from the plant. The declassified oxygen is for oxidation process is made from compressed air. The compressed air is produced by a membrane-compressor is

5 placed in one box with the control panel. The compressed air is blowing from the rounded, little bubbled aeration units with flexible membranes underneath the fix buttery charged cartridges. The control panel provides the blowing of the air, and the controlling of the pump. The system is able to work in manual and automatic mode. In automatic mode the control panel and the aeration unit is operated by the control panel programmed in advance: The aeration unit is started and stopped by the control panel (by the time programming) The homogenizer is also operated by the control panel. The sludge mixer pump is started on every hour for 2 minutes. The stabilization of the sludges (raw, primer sludge, aerob spare sludge) is made in anaerob circumstances, the sludge is stored in the pre-sedimentation cell. This cell guarantees month storage for the sludge, that ensures the favorable stability. The transport of the stabilized sludge is made by sniffing tank truck. The clarified sewage mostly piped to drain-field. The proper sized drain-field is defined by the a designer of WWTP. The plant installed under the surface, monitoring and servicing is made throw the five manhole cap. We guarantee the following outflow parameters: COD BOD NH 4 N (total) Suspended solids (total) 50 mg/l, homogenized from a 24 hour mixed sample 75 mg/l, homogenized from random sample 15 mg/l, homogenized from a 24 hour mixed sample 20 mg/l from random sample 10 mg/l, homogenized from a 24 hour mixed filtered sample, 20 mg/l, homogenized from a 24 hour mixed filtered sample, 50 mg/l, from random sample According to the 2. annex of the 28/2004. ( II. 25. ) KvVM decree about the limit values of the outflow of the contaminants and particular regulations regarding the outflowing sewage of the plant is in accordance with the limit value of the 2., 3., and 4., local areas. Installation guide: PE WWTP manufactured by POLYDUCT Co. is for clarifying communal pre-clarifying industrial sewage max 4 m 3 /day, can be sunked into the ground. and Important: To avoid any kind of problem please check the instruction manual before starting the installation and take it with you! Please observe the labour protection instructions written in the manual. Warning: The WWTP is proper for clarifying max 4 m 3 sewage /day! The installation is made by a plan in accordance with the characteristics of the location made by POLYDUCT ZRT. or a commissioned technical designer who has the right to make it Choosing proper installation place Have to be a free area for installation with 3 m diameter, for making a hole without any kind of problem. Have to be 1m buffer zone between the plant and the nearly building. Do not build above the plant. Avoid installing the plant for an underground water area. If it is not possible the tank have to be anchored, so please ask for the help of our specialist. Do not put the WWTP under area used for vehicular traffic. Can be installed under area used by pedestrians. Do not put the tank nearer than 2,5 m from tree trunk or other plants. Plant only the kind of plant whose roots will not press the tank while it is growing. In the case of installing on slope, have to be tested the 5m wide area around the tank if there is a need of building a supporting wall Tank installation a.) excavation of installation hole Please make an installation hole with flat bottom, whose size is bigger with 0,3 than the biggest size of the tank (ø 3,5 m), ti make possible refilling and aggregating the subgrade. To avoid ripping danger have to be widen the wall of the hole with bevel. Before defining the depth of the hole the 20 cm thick concrete subgrade and the maximum 30 cm thick of covering on the plant have to be taken into consideration. After excavating the hole form the minimum 20 cm thickness flat concrete subgrade. b.) installation of the tank, and making the pipe connections Lift down the tank circumspectly (with belts) to the hole, check if it is horizontal. The lifting handles on the tank can be used only when it is empty (the weight of the tank is approximately 600 kg). Advisable to put the tank directly to the concrete

7 subgrade after getting down from the truck, taking into consideration the pipe connection on the side of the inlet. In the case of drilling the hole for the connection pipe in the installation area, the post-sedimentation cell have to be drilled by crown drills size 125 the way to get the center line and the center point of the bore hole overlap one another. The bore hole have to be cut by stick and put (110/10) rubber sealing in it. Do not refill the exempted soil near the tank. If the subgrade is as high as the water in the tank, the inlet and outlet pipes have to be connected, after it fill in the tank totally. After it carry on making the subgrade as we defined earlier. Check the connected pipes that have to be fixed well, without any kind of tension. For making the last 20 cm subgrade use the soil excavated from the hole, do not use sharp gravels! 9.3. Installation of control panel Install the control panel somewhere in the 5m wide area of the WWTP, provide the electric connection with connecting a MTK land cable. The electric network have to be connected fix! Only have to be made by educated electrician! The numbered outputs of the air valve on the control panel have to be connected to the numbered connectors of the tank. The plant can be operated from 230 V grounded network. Protection from pulsating voltage is the responsibility of the customer. Have to be made touch defensive tests before starting to operate, the report made about it have to be retained by the customer. Have to be made harmless the plant before doing some work on it! 9.4.Clear-water test Have to be checked the aeration system, the recirculation pump and the gravitational flowing between the cells on the tank filled till the operation horizon. After finishing the succesfull clear-water test, the plant have to be connected to the sewage system.

Operating and servicing instruction The POLYDOX biological WWTP do not requires continual control, contrary to the alive sludge biological WWTP, but the periodic control is needed, other safety technique equipments are not needed. Have to be checked and changed the aeration units if needed in every 5-6 years. There are no dangerous gases in the reactor cell, special safety regulations are not needed. If the plant is not placed in a closed area, it have to be surrounded by a fence, to avoid incompetent incursion. Have to be appointed a responsible person to manage. The responsible person have to organize the monitoring, maintenance and continual writing the operational blotter. Continual monitoring is not needed. Temporary tests have to be made by the table hereinafter. The monitoring have to be made also for the connecting works.
