3 Description of Drinking-Water System: The Lisle water system is classified as a Small Municipal Residential water system with 79 services. Water is supplied via two (2) municipal wells and one (1) pumphouse. Inspections and maintenance duties are conducted by Ontario Clean Water Agency staff on a regular basis to maintain compliance with Ontario Regulation 170/03 to ensure that Lisle s water supply is safe to drink. List of water treatment chemicals used during the reporting period: Sodium Hypochlorite 12% Solution NSF, Disinfection Significant expenses incurred to: [X] Install required equipment [X] Purchase required equipment [X] Repair required equipment [X] Replace required equipment Description of significant expenses incurred in 2017: 1. Drinking Water Quality Management Standard (DWQMS) audit of OCWA Quality & Environmental Management System (QEMS). 2. Annual calibrations of continuous analyzers, backflow preventers, flow meters, etc. 3. Laboratory sample bottles and analysis. 4. Repaired/serviced singer flow control valve. 5. Installed and replaced new well probes and loop isolators (x2). 6. Purchased and installed a Red Lion data logger screen. 7. Installed new pre-chlorine analyzer. 8. Replaced generator fluid. 9. Repaired chlorine analyzer. 10. Repaired plugged floor drain. 11. Purchased chlorine pump replacement parts (spare parts and injectors). 12. Replaced unit heater. 13. Purchased and installed piping and distribution parts for hydrant and curb stop repairs. 14. Purchased chemical tubing. 15. Purchased and installed ports for chlorine injection points. 5 *There is no "MAC" for Sodium. The aesthetic objective for sodium in drinking water is 200 mg/l. The local Medical Officer of Health should be notified when the sodium concentration exceeds 20 mg/l so that this information may be communicated to local physicians for their use with patients on sodium restricted diets.
