Experience and current projects in NEA Power cooperation development NEA RPIC Forum, Ulaan-Baatar, Mongolia,

2 Key assets focus on Siberia region Volgaenergo Volgaenergo Regional power company, incumbent in Nizhny Novgorod Region 580 MW of installed power capacity and 2,679 Gcal/h of heat capacity Krasnoyarskaya HPP 2nd largest HPP in Russia 6,000 MW of installed power capacity Irkutskenergo Irkutskenergo (b) One of the largest power companies in Russia, located in Irkutsk Region 12,880 MW of installed power capacity, of which 9,002 MW is HPP-based Other shareholders: InterRAO, JSC (40%) Irkutsk GridCo (a) Moscow Owns and operates most of the electricity T&D assets in Irkutsk region 37,951 km of power lines (9,839 km transmission and 28,112 km distribution) Other shareholders: RusHydro, JSC (42%) Russia Coal assets (b) Coal mining assets with reserves of c.1.2 bn tn and production of c. 15,7 mln tn in 2013 Satisfied over 100% of Irkutskenergo coal requirements in 2013 % EuroSibEnergo-Engineering Power engineering company providing repair and maintenance services Key clients: EuroSibEnergo subsidiaries (50% of Revenue in 2013) and third-party clients MAREM+ Independent power trading and supply company 3.5 TWh of electricity traded in 2013 Trades electricity in both pricing zones JSC «EnSer», Miass Regional power company, incumbent in Chelyabinsk Region Total installed electric capacity 24 MW, heat capacity -575 Gcal. Generation Transmission & Distribution Trading & Supply Coal mining Engineering & Repair services % Ownership stake

Green energy generation Over ¾ of ESE generation portfolio comes from HPPs located on the Siberian rivers. ESE is one of the largest hydropower generation companies in the world and one of the major producers of green energy in Russia aiming at sustainable development ESE operates 19 power plants with total installed capacity of 19.6 GW of which over 15 GW is hydro Low average annual temperature of minus 2 C near HPP impoundments located in Siberia provides ecological advantage in terms of greenhouse gas emissions in comparison with HPPs located in warm climate High load factor of the Angara river enables to generate more carbon neutral energy without use of fossil fuels In December 2015 we diversified our clean energy mix by launching a pilot solar PV power project Abakan SPP with elements of basic equipment produced inhouse. The launch of Abakan SPP reinforced ESE leading position in green energy generation in Russia. 3

EuroSibEnergo is a source of sustainable power for Russia s commodities feeding global and Asian growth EuroSibEnergo has a strong presence in the Siberian power market #2 Oil producer #1 Aluminum producer #6 Coal producer, #3 coal exporter Russia owns and develops one of the richest natural resource bases globally; significant resources / production facilities are concentrated in Siberia Fast-growing Asian markets and, in particular, China are quickly becoming major consumers of natural resources in global terms Extraction and production of key natural resources (crude oil, natural gas, aluminum, timber, etc.) are very energy-intensive processes #2 Oil consumer #1 Aluminum consumer #1 Coal consumer Oil deposits Natural gas deposits Coal deposits Aluminium smelters EuroSibEnergo HPPs Therefore, reliable supply of Russia s commodities to the global market depends on availability of sustainable and competitive power, such as that provided by EuroSibEnergo Positioned to benefit from long term trends in China and Asia 4

KAZ AKH STA N Этап 1. Исследование вариантов экспорта электроэнергии в Китай, в рамках Рабочей Группы ФСК 2012г. ESE s investigations in NEA power cooperation Investigations of Siberian Grid infrastructure for possible electricity export (~7 GW) to China (2012) RUS SIA Investigation of electricity supply options from Siberia and Far East of Russia to China ( гг.) CHIN A Development of optimal routes of electricity delivery from Russia to China, the Republic of Korea, Japan and DPRK ( ) Investigation of power supply to Japan by Swapoption of supply trough China (Integration with C-K-J project of GEIDCO ) 5

Hydro power resources of Russia as a main opportunity for power cooperation in NEA Development degree - 21%. For comparison, in Germany - 95%, France and Italy - 95%, UK - 90%, Japan 84%, USA - 82%, China 30% (growing rapidly) 6

Opportunities for hydro power development in Siberia Option 1. Opportunities for existed power capacity Option 2. Opportunities for existed and new constructed Hydro power capacity Siberia power system Far East power system Vitim river hydro power complex up to 5,5 GW new power capacity 2-5 GW existed power capacity To Mongolia To China (Beijing) To Mongolia To China (Beijing) Allows to implement joint operation of power systems of Russia, Mongolia and China in bilateral transfer of energy Does not demand new power construction Is suitable for compensating irregularities of RES power (wind, solar) Demands new power construction Allows to supply fully clean green energy 7

ESE hydro power current project Description Location Bodaibo district, Irkutsk region, 40 km from Bodaibo town. On the Mamakan river where the Telmama river joins the Mamakan river Installed capacity 450 MW Preliminary construction period 7 years Project start date 2018 Average annual production mln. kwh Utilization rate of installed capacity 42% Investments circa RUB 64.4 bln Mamakan river utilization scheme envisages two development stages: Mamakanskaya HPP (lower one; completed in 1962) 1.3 km from Mamakan river mouth Telmamskaya HPP (upper one) to be built in 28 km from river mouth, near the place where the Telmama river joins the Mamakan river Mamakanskaya HPP Telmamskaya HPP Republic of Buryatia Irkutsk region Moscow Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Russia Zabaikalskiy region 8
