1 UNDERGROUND MINING ENGINEERING 14 (2005) UDK 62 FACULTY OF MINING AND GEOLOGY, BELGRADE YU ISSN Expert paper THE PROPOSAL OF METHODOLOGY FOR DETERMINE OF DEPEDENCE OF COSTS AND TIME OF CONSTRUCTION OF UNDERGROUND SPACES IN SERBIAN COAL MINES ABSTRACT Đukanović Duško 1, Đukanović Dragan 2, Ilinčić Nebojša 3 The order of this paper was to the gave the proposal of methodology for determine of depedence of costs and times of construction of underground spaces in coal mines of Serbia. In that goal carried out registered of working operations, and cycle at all, on the base achieved consumptions materials and wages, determined for unity metodology, and costs construction of underground spaces. In this paper its goved only finish results, because of volume of paper, it can t be gived complete show scorecards from registrated tehnological proces of construction, as well as carried out estimate of costs. Key words: costs, time of construction, underground spaces. INTRODUCTION By this paper shall be presented the results statistical elaboration duration of working operations, and cycle at all, as well as costs, during construction of the underground spaces for colliers working as JP PEU (National company of colliers with underground production). During explotation the characteristical working environment are covered where the said spaces are located. Generaly speaking, they are coal and vast material. Registration have been executed during 15 continued shifts for five days. In the same time during registration the said operation and registracion tehnical parameters, the necessary data additionaly have been folloved to define speed of construction of spaces, quality of work and economic indicators. THE DEFINITION OF METHODOLOGY OF EXPLORATION AND CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH THE EXPLORATIONS HAVE BEEN EXECUTED The objects of exploration the colliers united bu JP PEU, Resavica, are taken into consideration, because of many reasons: in the colliers belonging to JP PEU exists possibilites to execute 1 Project and restructuring bureau, Belgrade 2 MEC, Vrdnik 3 Sands - Ub

2 90 Đukanović D.; Đukanović D.; Ilinčić N.; exploration to many places and in proper quantity, the explorations have been made under the same of very similar technological conditions, on all testing sections the same cross section was elaborated (9,62m 2 ), in all colliers the same equipment and same tecnology of execution was used, and in all colliers the same organization of work has been practized. Above mentioned conditions enable to paralel the results collected in different pits and different working environment and make conclusion with the same statistical weight. The vaching down (registration) and collection of datas regarding the technological round of construction of rooms in testing pits, has been executed in the following testing sections: a) "Jasenovac" pit Exploration tunnel IH-5 - located in coal - working environment "1", Decline N-5 - constructed into clayed sandstone working environment "2", b) "Lubnica" pit Decline N-4 - part constructed in coal - working environment "3", Main ventilation decline GVN-1, part by constructed in marl clay- working environment "4", c) "Soko" pit Crossing tunnel PH-26 - part constructed in coal - working environment "5", Ventilation decline VN-35- part constructed in marl sandstone - working environment "6", d) "Strmosten" pit Transporting tunnel TH-8- part constructed in coal - working environment "7", Transporting tunnel TH-7- part constructed in clayed sandstone - working environment "8". The measurement have been executed in each testing section during 15 continual shifts. By reaching down and measuring the datas have been collected about realized tehnical parameters and regarding consumtion of time, for all elementary parts of executed works, as: caughts, working operations and rounds. All datas for each working environment, have been statisticaly elaborated and shown by adequate plates. The explorations have been executed in different working environments, but with rooms of same cross section: round (circular) with 9,62 m 2 of surface. To have the same condidions and realize the request that all collected results shall have same statistical weight (without regard to location of testing section and type of working environment), during the

3 The proposal of methodology for determine of depedence of costs said exploration the same system of work has been practized, the same equipment have been used, work power and organization, as: Organization scheme: three shifts work, the exchange of shift on surface office, Structure of qualificiafions: team of four worker - 1 high qualified miner, 1 semiqualitied, miner and two ordinary workers (nonqualified), Drilling equipment: drill type VST - 11, spiral drill (bore) 1,2 m long, diameter of drilling bit 42 mm, Loading equipment: for hand use shovel, hoe, Ventilation equipment: tube axial fan type ARXE and DVT , plastic pipes 400 and 600 mm, System of drilling: only one drill, System of loading and blasting of mines: hand loading, two workers (the blasting operator- not member of the team, and chief of the working team- qualified miner), Explosives methanedefont cartridge 32 mm and 100 and 200g, Initiation: by electrical milisecond detonators, Transport equipment for excavated materials: chain conveyors type TS -74 and belt conveyors TT-800, Supply of row materials: up to 100 and 200 m from working face, Position of room: circular, 3,5 m, Light cross section 9,62 m a ; excavation area 11,94 m 2, The support: steel sections, type KOP, made in Bulgaria. DISPLAY OF REZULTS COLLECTED BY REACHING DOWN (REGISTRATION) OF TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESS That herself what objective to perceive depedence of time and costs during construction of the underground spaces, have been executed registracion tehnological process construction of the underground spaces in the goal determin time and costs construction of the underground spaces. The datas received by registration of technological process statisticaly are elaborated, given by plates and graphich, to enable simple method of analizing the rezults and giving of conclusions. Because of limited room of this paper, all details of collecting shall be not shown, but only concetrated, elaborated datas, for above mentioned mines and working environments. By the table 1 the consumed realzed times for working operations (per 1 m space), and working enwironments. By the table 2 consumed realized costs construction 1 m space (EUR/m ). All detail adventitious are in base collected dutum for all testing sections share and working environment sepuruately. Table 1. Working operations Working environment

5 The proposal of methodology for determine of depedence of costs In other to determin depedence of costs and time construction of the underground space, it is necessity, for every working cycle, determin linears coefficient a. Linears coefficient a, it is show how much falling or increasing directs costs of working cycle, for its reducing or extending for unit of the time. Linears coefficient a, extending or reducing costs, it is determine from relation: a = (C (1) - C (0) ) / (T - t) (1) where is: T Appropriate realised lasting working cycle (min); t Appropriate minimum lasting working cycle (min); C (1) - Appropriate direct costs for carry out realised working cycle (EUR/m ); C (0) - Appropriate direct costs for carry out minimum working cycle (EUR/m ); Linears form depedence of realised costs C and lasting working cycle T cycl. is determin from relation: C = a T cikl. + b (EUR/m (2) where is: T cycl. lasting working cycle (min) a linears coefficient (EUR/min) b coefficient which is determine from relation: b = (C (0) T - C (1) t) / (T - t) (3) On the base nominated metodology and data gived in table 3. calculated are coefficients "a" and "b", on the base which iz gived function of costs for working environments in depedence of time of construction, and same is showed in table 4. CONCLUSION Based on the exploration of technological process of construction of mining rooms by drilling and blasting technology, it can bi conclused, that between costs construction and time of construction of the underground space, exist certain linears depedence. On the based established linear depedence, it might be, in which knowing time of construction, determine costs construction by drilling and blasting technology, depedence of working environment.
