1 J-CCCP COMMUNICATIONS PLAN SUMMARY DOMINICA CAMPAIGN IMPLEMENTATION PRIORITIES AND HIGHLIGHTS General population An all-encompassing awareness campaign that utilises as far as possible, a full range of traditional and new media Maximise the use of popular media personalities, and environmental experts as climate change intermediaries since KAP survey findings show trust issues with government spokespersons Focus on actions individuals can take to reduce risks, build resilience etc Present information on CC causes and effects (focusing on those less known e.g.-drought, water shortages, health TV and radio talk shows (government personnel, climate change experts and/or environmentalists to be featured) TV and Radio PSAs Press releases News reports Brochures 1
