N E W I N S T A L L A T I O N S S A M P L E T E ST IN G Due to the differeces of each surface, several icospicuous test patches should be completed with each product to assure maximum performace. USERS MUST DETERMINE THE SUITABILITY OF THE PRODUCT FOR THEIR INTENDED USE! S E A L IN G A S A G R O U T R E L E A S E These types of surfaces are very porous ad ca absorb stais from may items icludig the dye i may grouts. To isure the best possible istallatio, as well as costructio site protectio, 511 Porous Plus should be applied as a grout release before groutig the surface followig product istructios carefully. 511 Porous Plus will resist dye absorptio, facilitate grout residue removal (up to 45% faster), ad offer superior stai resistace. I ay situatio where o odor ca be preset, use 511 H2O + for paver ad grout protectio. D IR E C T IO N S Always test a small area to isure desired results. Do ot dilute or thi at ay time. Shake well may be applied to damp surfaces 1 2 hours after stadig water has bee removed. 3. Apply a eve applicatio of 511 usig a clea white towel or MiraBrush Applicator & Tray. 4. Saturate the surface gettig the surface Wet to the Eye beig careful ot to allow 511 ito the ope ugrouted joits. 5. Allow 511 to dwell for 3 5 miutes. 6. Wipe or buff off ay excess 511 before it dries o the surface with terry cloth towels. 7. Reactivatig the residue with 511 ad immediately buffig dry with terry cloth towels may remove ay excess 511 that has dried o the surface creatig a residue/film. 8. If the residue has bee o the surface for more tha a few hours, use Miracle Sealats Residue Remover. Apply directly to the surface ad immediately buff or wipe dry with terry cloth towels. 9. For 511 H2O+, use warm water ad a soft scrub pad to remove excess. 10. Allow 511 to cure 6 12 hours before proceedig with the groutig process. 11. Grout the surface per maufacturer s specificatios. 12. Clea all grout residue completely with a clea spoge ad water. 13. Refer to the Product Data Sheet, SDS (Safety Data Sheet) & Label for complete istructios. With some difficult surfaces it may be ecessary to use Miracle Sealats Heavy Duty Acidic Cleaer, Phosphoric Acid Cleaer, Epoxy Grout Film Remover or Fiish Sealer Stripper (depedig o grout type) to completely remove all grout residue. 2 maufacturer s specificatio so as ot to void ay maufacturer warraty o the grout. For existig grout it is ot ecessary to wait. 1. Apply 511 Porous Plus with a paitbrush or MiraBrush Applicator & Tray to grout joits. 2. Allow 511 to dwell 3 5 miutes. 3. Wipe or buff off ay excess before it dries o the surface with terry cloth towels. 4. Ay excess that has dried o the surface creatig a residue/film may be removed by reactivatig the residue with 511 ad immediately buffig dry with terry cloth towels. 5. For 511 H2O Plus, use warm water ad a soft scrub pad to remove excess. 6. Fiished area ca be used for ormal foot traffic i 3 5 hours. 7. Allow 511 to cure 72 hours before subjectig to water, oil ad staiig materials. 8. Refer to the Product Data Sheet, SDS & Label for complete istructios. S E A L IN G A N D T H E N AT U R A L L O O K If you are tryig to retai the atural look of the clay paver, we recommed stoppig at this poit ad puttig the area ito service. This type of fiish will require the least amout of maiteace ad is recommed for high traffic ad food areas for maximum stai ad slip protectio. S E A L IN G A N D C O L O R E N H A N C E M E N T For color ehacemet we recommed Miracle Sealats 511 Seal & Ehace impregator ad color ehacer. 511 Seal & Ehace was desiged to ehace the atural color ad texture of all Terra Cotta, Saltillo & clay surfaces. I additio to beautifyig the stoe, 511 Seal & Ehace offers stai resistace to water, oil ad stais all i oe product. Do ot dilute or thi at ay time. Shake well. 2. Apply usig a clea white towel or MiraBrush Applicator & Tray. 3. Apply eough to the surface so it is Wet to the Eye 4. Do ot allow 511 Seal & Ehace to puddle or air dry o the surface. 5. Work i small areas. 6. At least two applicatios are ecessary to achieve desired ehacemet, water, oil ad stai resistace. 7. Apply secod applicatio after the iitial applicatio has dried at least oe hour. 8. Remove excess before it dries with terry cloth towels. 9. Excess may be removed by reactivatig residue with 511 Seal & Ehace ad immediately buffig dry with terry cloth towels. 10. Fiished area ca be used for ormal foot traffic i 3 5 hours. 11. Keep free from water, oil ad stais for 72 hours. 12. Refer to the Product Data Sheet, SDS & Label for complete istructios. S E A L IN G F O R S H IN E E N H A N C E M E N T For a high gloss or sati fiish we recommed usig High Gloss Fiish/Matte Fiish Sealer after the 511 Porous Plus has bee applied. This product will create a desirable shie to your clay pavers. Follow the istructios previously metioed for sealig pavers ad sealig grout joits. 2. Apply usig a clea white towel or MiraBrush Applicator & Tray.. 3. Apply Wet to the eye to the surface. 4. Do ot allow High Gloss Fiish/Matte Fiish Sealer to puddle o the surface. 5. Work i small areas. 6. At least two applicatios are ecessary to achieve desired ehacemet. 7. Apply secod applicatio after the iitial applicatio has dried (to the touch) at least oe hour. 8. Fiished area ca be used for light foot traffic i 3 5 hours. 9. Keep free from water, oil ad stais for 72 hours. 10. Refer to the Product Data Sheet, SDS & Label for complete istructios. To remove existig solvet base coatigs ad/or waxes use a solvet base fast actig floor stripper followig labels istructios carefully. To remove existig water base coatigs ad/or waxes use Fiish Sealer Stripper. All dirty remais must be removed from the surface before cleaig. Always test a small area to isure desired results. To remove existig water base coatigs ad waxes use Miracle Sealats Fiish Sealer Stripper fast actig stripper. To remove existig solvet base coatigs, waxes ad mastics use Epoxy Grout Film Remover or solvet base fast actig stripper. 2. Apply stripper to the surface udiluted. 3. Allow solutio to dwell for 5 20 miutes, agitatig periodically with a medium aggressive had brush for small areas ad floor brush ad a 175 rpm, 150 lbs. floor machie for large areas. 4. Remove all dirty remais with towels or a wet vacuum. 5. Thoroughly rise surface with clea water. 6. Allow the surface to dry. 7. Multiple applicatios may be required depedig o the amout of wax build up. 8. Fiish Sealer Stripper is alkalie ad may affect the surface fiish of some stoe. 9. Fiished area ca be used for ormal foot traffic i 1 5 hours. 10. Refer to the Product Data Sheet, SDS & Label for complete istructios. H E A V Y D U T Y C L E A N IN G Always test a small area to isure desired results. To remove hard water deposits, grout residue, efflorescece, rust ad other heavy dirt ad grime use Miracle HD Cleaer, Liquid Poultice, Phosphoric Acid Cleaer or Heavy Duty Acidic Cleaer. Acid Sesitive Surfaces should be cleaed with Miracle Sealats Liquid Poultice, a o-acidic deep cleaer desiged specifically for acid sesitive stoe surfaces. Use of Liquid Poultice will ot affect the atural fiish of the stoe. 2. Mix oe part Liquid Poultice Part A with oe part Liquid Poultice Part B with 2 equal parts warm water. 3. Wet the surface to be cleaed. 4. Apply Liquid Poultice solutio usig a soft brush, towel or mop. 5. Allow solutio to dwell 40 miutes while keepig the surface damp. Do ot allow cleaer to dry o the surface. 6. Agitate the surface with a soft brush periodically. 7. Remove excess with towels or wet vacuum. 8. Rise with clea water. 9. O walls a fie mist may be applied ad allowed to dry up to 72 hours. 10. Fiished area ca be used for ormal foot traffic withi 1 5 hours. 11. Refer to the Product Data Sheet, SDS & Label for complete istructios. For the most aggressive cleaig challeges use Miracle Sealats Heavy Duty Acidic Cleaer, a strog hydrochloric acid cleaer. 2. Mix oe part Heavy Duty Acidic Cleaer with te parts water (1:10). Do ot use stroger tha (1:3). 3. Wet surface to be cleaed with clea water. 4. Apply Heavy Duty Acidic Cleaer solutio usig a brush, towel or mop. 5. Allow solutio to dwell 1 5 miutes while keepig the surface damp. Rise with oe part Tile & Stoe Cleaer with te parts clea water (1:10) to isure complete eutralizatio. 10. Fiished area ca be used for ormal foot traffic i 1 5 hours. 11. Refer to the Product Data Sheet, SDS & Label for complete istructios. For the little less aggressive cleaig challege use Miracle Sealats Phosphoric Acid Cleaer. 2. Mix oe part Phosphoric Acid Cleaer with te parts water (1:10). Do ot use stroger tha (1:3). 3. Wet surface to be cleaed with clea water. 4. Apply solutio usig a brush, towel or mop. 5. Allow solutio to dwell 1 5 miutes while keepig the surface damp. 6. Agitate the surface with a brush. 7. Do ot allow solutio to dry o the s u r f a c e. 8. Remove excess with towels or wet vacuum. 9. Rise with oe part Tile & Stoe Cleaer with te parts clea water (1:10) to isure complete eutralizatio. 10. Fiished area ca be used for ormal foot traffic i 1 5 hours. 11. Refer to the Product Data Sheet, SDS & Label for complete istructios. STA IN R E MO V A L For stai removal troubleshootig use Poultice Plus ad refer to the Miracle Sealats Stai Removal Guide for further iformatio. Always test a small area to isure desired results. 2. Mix Poultice Plus with the appropriate MSC Cleaer (refer to stai removal guide) ito a peaut butter like paste. 3. Apply Poultice Plus paste to stai about 1/4 thick ad overlap the stai by 1/4. 4. Cover the Poultice Plus paste with plastic wrap. 5. Tape the plastic wrap to the surface usig o-markig tape to create a air tight seal. 6. Allow to dry hours or util completely dry to hard clay like paste. 7. Remove plastic wrap from stai. 8. Remove the residual powder/paste away usig a wood spoo or spatula. 9. Rise the area usig distilled water. 10. Multiple applicatios may be ecessary to remove stai etirely. 11. Fiished area ca be used for ormal foot traffic i 1 5 hours. 12. Refer to the Product Data Sheet, SDS & Label for complete istructios. M A I N T E N A N C E Daily dry dust moppig will keep dust, grit ad sad off the surface. Although this type of surface will ot show wear as readily as other surfaces, it is wise to keep it as clea as possible. L IG H T C L E A N IN G F O R T H E N AT U R A L L O O K Daily cleaig should cosist of usig Limestoe/Travertie Soap. Limestoe/Travertie Soap ca also be used as a alterative for ogoig maiteace. Limestoe/Travertie Soap will clea ad protect i oe step while addig a slight patia to the fiish. Apply Limestoe/Travertie Soap as ofte as you like, as it will hide imperfectios, scratches ad ot build-up o the stoe surface. Limestoe/Travertie Soap ca be used o walls ad couters. 2. Mix oe part Limestoe/Travertie Soap to te parts warm water for first 6 moths. After 6 moths mix oe part Limestoe/Travertie Soap to twety parts warm water. 5 3. Apply Limestoe/Travertie Soap solutio usig a mop or spoge. 4. Do ot rise. 5. Allow Limestoe/Travertie Soap solutio to dry. 6. Chage the water whe it becomes dirty or c l o u d y. 7. I kitche ad food preparatio areas use Miracle Sealats Tile & Stoe Cleaer. Ca go back to usig Limestoe/Travertie Soap after cleaig with Tile & Stoe Cleaer. 2. Mix oe part Tile & Stoe Cleaer with te parts warm water (1:10). For more difficult cleaig issues, use a mixture of oe part Tile & Stoe Cleaer with three parts warm water (1:3). 3. Apply Tile & Stoe Cleaer solutio usig a mop or spoge. 4. Allow solutio to dwell miutes. 5. Agitate periodically with a medium brush. 6. Extract all dirty remais with towels or a wet vacuum. 7. Rise the surface with clea water to elimiate ay streaks or residue. 8. Chage the water whe it becomes dirty or c l o u d y. 9. Fiished area ca be used for ormal foot traffic i 1 5 hours. 10. Refer to the Product Data Sheet, SDS & Label for complete istructios. L IG H T C L E A N IN G F O R C O L O R E N H A N C E M E N T Daily cleaig of pavers impregated with 511 Seal & Ehace ca cosist of usig Tile & Stoe Cleaer or Limestoe/Travertie Soap as directed previously i this guide. C O U N T E R C L E A N IN G A N D P R O T E C T IO N R E J U V E N AT IO N Always test a small area to isure desired results. For couters, usig Miracle Sealats 511 Klee & Reseal, as eeded will keep it clea without streakig while rejuveatig the protectio from the appropriate 511 Sealat. 511 Klee & Reseal is easily sprayed oto the surface ad wiped off with a clea towel or micro fiber cloth. 1. Spray directly oto soiled area. 2. Wipe up with a clea, dry towel or spoge. No risig ecessary. 3. Repeat for heavily soiled areas allowig product to sit for several miutes. Agitatig or scrubbig with a ylo pad before wipig. 4. Fiished area ca be used immediately. 5. Refer to the Product Data Sheet, material Safety Data Sheet & Label for complete istructios. S E A L IN G M A IN T E N A N C E Resealig will vary depedig o porosity, desity, hardess, foot traffic ad the elemets (idoor or outdoor) the area is exposed to. As a geeral rule, medium to dese surfaces exposed to heavy foot traffic ca be resealed every 1 3 years. Very hard surfaces exposed to heavy foot traffic ca be resealed every 3 5 years. It is importat to remember that ay additioal or future applicatios of 511 Sealats will require less sealat tha origially used.
