3 ANNUAL REPORT Period from: JANUARY 01, 2016 DECEMBER 31, 2016 DRINKING-WATER SYSTEMS REGULATION O. Reg. 170/03, Section 11 Describe your Drinking-Water System: The Anten Mills water treatment plant is located at 35 Luella Blvd. in the community of Anten Mills. Raw Raw water is obtained from 3 drilled wells located on site identified as wells #1, #2 and #3. Each well is equipped with a submersible well pump and flow meter. Treatment & Storage Sodium hypochlorite is injected into the raw header by one of two chemical feed pumps. If one pump fails, the additional pump is automatically initiated. Treated water then travels to a 318 m 3 above ground storage tank where it achieves the required contact time. Distribution Water is pumped from the above ground storage tank to the distribution system via four centrifugal high lift pumps. The distribution system is comprised of PVC piping. Monitoring The plant is equipped with continuous chlorine residual analyzer. This data, as well as flow and well level data, is recorded on a data logger for review. The system is alarmed for various parameters and is also equipped with a diesel generator for back-up power in case of emergencies. List all water treatment chemicals used over this reporting period: Sodium hypochlorite, 12% NSF for disinfection Were any significant expenses incurred to?
