"BIO-ZYME" is a non-toxic, biodegradable, environmentally friendly, deodorising agent, which augments biological action. "BIO-ZYME works to eliminate odours by changing the molecular structure of the host environment, digests contaminants and speeds up the natural biodegrading process. "BIO-ZYME" includes natural enzymes that break down oils and greases in holding ponds, septic tanks, grease traps, toilets, drains etc., making it easier for nature's bacteria to consume any organic waste matter and at the same time any odours. "BIO-ZYME" is an organic multiple enzyme biocatalytic agent that emulsifies and digests grease deposits and other contaminants in industrial wastes. "BIO-ZYME" is a unique blend of naturally occurring enzymes, polysaccharides, electrolytes and chelated metals, and is at the forefront of modern biotechnology. "BIO-ZYME" is a high performance, non-toxic, non-allergenic and biodegradable multiple enzyme degreaser, and odour controller. "BIO-ZYME" is not a mask! 2

4 "BIO-ZYME" Composition The use of enzymes to improve the biological degradation of organic matter is well known. It has been found especially advantages to add quantities of a number of enzymes directly into septic systems and sewage treatment ponds in order to catalyse the digestion or organic impurities and to stimulate natural bacterial action. The enzymes are usually added in dry inactive form directly to the waste-containing mixtures and become activated when dissolved. However, it is further appreciated the enzymes are highly specific as to the waste materials upon which they will act and are delicate in that ph factors, temperatures etc., must be within limited ranges of suitable enzymatic activity. With these realisations, it is necessary to select various types of enzymes, which will promote the degradation of various impurities. The cleaning of accumulated organic waste materials from drain and sewage lines has, in the past, generally been limited to the use of various devices or harsh chemicals which degrade the waste materials. However, such mechanical devices are not standard household items and their use is often inconvenient and time consuming as well as costly, should commercial contractor assistance be required. Although chemical drain and sewage line cleaning compositions are effective, they contain harsh caustics or acids which must be handled with great care since they are extremely toxic and poisonous. Even slight contact with animal tissue can cause severe injury. Such compositions if allowed to remain in contact with metal or concrete pipes can result in extensive corrosion. Further, the harsh and toxic constituents are not conductive to bacterial activity within septic systems and tend to degrade enzymatic activity by upsetting otherwise suitable ph levels. It will also be appreciated that undue accumulation of such chemicals within drain fields will have a sterilising effect on the surrounding soil which is detrimental to plant life. Other chemicals commonly used in dissolving organic matter and especially in many commercial and products are highly volatile, toxic, flammable and irritating to the skin especially on any extended contact. The solvents are also not miscible with water and, accordingly only with difficulty, are removed from premises by conventional washing techniques. The composition of "BIO-ZYME" comprises a mixture of naturally fermented organic materials combined with surfactants and other biological stimulating ingredients. The composition not only greatly improves sewage treatment facility capabilities by stimulating bacterial growth, eliminating odours, enzymatically improving the catalytic degradation of sewage impurities, but in itself is a strong and effective cleaning composition, and improves aeration and bacterial activities of drain fields to which it is added. The composition is highly effective in cleaning and removing accumulated wastes from sewage and drainage pipes in which organic matter has built up but is non-corrosive, non-toxic and completely biodegradable. The product is also extremely useful in digesting and removing organic materials such as grease, oils etc., from substances and yet is not irritating, toxic or flammable as they are the known hydrocarbon and chlorinated hydrocarbon solvents. The constituents render it not only safe to use but beneficial to drain field assimilation. 3

5 It doesn't happen overnight - a biological process takes time! How Is It Used? Cleaner The multiple enzymes in "BIO-ZYME" will completely clean and deodorise all surfaces to which it is applied. "BIO-ZYME will also remove bacteria and inhibit bacterial growth. "BIO-ZYME" can be applied using a trigger spray bottle in a "spray & wipe" action for shower recesses, toilets, stove hoods, painted walls, windows, mirrors and difficult and marked floor areas. Various dilution factors can be used depending on the difficulty of the cleaning problem but a 10:1 solution seems to be sufficient for most jobs. For general cleaning of floors use full strength for initial clean, scrub where necessary, followed by hose was down where available, use mop and bucket otherwise. Once floors are returned to acceptable level of cleanliness use a working solution of 25 to 50/1 ( ml per 5 litre bucket) and mop onto floor, followed by normal wash down, using fresh water where available, but salt water can be used if fresh unavailable. 6 Odour Eliminator "BIO-ZYME" eliminates unpleasant odours through natural biodegradable process at the instant it is applied. IT IS NOT A MASK. "BIO-ZYME" works to eliminate odour by changing the molecular structure of the host environment. Application rates: General Cleaning and deodorising For general spray and wipe, dilute 25/1. Stronger concentrations may be needed for more difficult jobs such as stove hoods and extractor fans, use 1/1 or 5/1 dilution depending on concentration of grease or odour. For floor wash in kitchens and toilets etc., dilute 50/1 (100ml or 1/2 cup to a 5 litre bucket). For difficult floors dilute 25/1 (200ml or 1 cup to a 5 litre bucket). Toilets - particularly Men's Urinals Flush 100ml down urinal waste to 'kick-start' process, then spray full strength "BIO-ZYME" onto face of urinal and area immediately in front. Flush cistern and hose down. Repeat daily. Toilet floors can be washed or mopped down daily with a 50/1 diluted solution (100ml or 1/2 cup to a 5 litre bucket). Hose down after. For difficult floors dilute 25/1 (200ml or 1 cup to a 5 litre bucket). Grease Traps Use a solution of ml to a 10 litre bucket of water to make up working solution for cleaning floors at close of business, and hose down afterwards. This will ensure sufficient product will wash down floor wastes into grease trip each day and help eliminate odour problems. Grease Breakdown NO MORE GREASE PROBLEMS Regular use of "BIO-ZYME" will keep traps, drain lines, garbage disposals and septic systems free flowing and odourless. "BIOZYME" enhances beneficial micro-organism activity and significantly aids in the reduction of suspended solids and biological oxygen demand (BOD). EASY TO USE Grease Traps: At lowest use period, add 5 litres of "BIO-ZYME" concentrate for every one cubic metre of grease trap capacity. Add directly to the trap or into any drain(s) leading into the trap. Follow with 5 litres of warm (NOT HOT) water. If added directly into grease trap, spray the trap surfaces with "BIO-ZYME to eliminate any odour that may be present. 5

7 Each day thereafter, at lowest use period, add ml of "BIO-ZYME" for each cubic metre of grease trap capacity. This is easily achieved by using "BIO-ZYME" to wash down floors at close of business. Use ml to 5 litres of water to make up working solution -- apply and hose or mop down. Septic Tanks: Flush in 2 litres of "BIO-ZYME" for each 1400 litres of septic tank capacity. Each week thereafter flush in 200ml or add it to any drain leading to the septic tank. If more than one drain leads to the tank, use a different one each week. If the tank's leach system is blocked with oil and grease, a more frequent application, even daily, will need to be made until the system is cleared. Waste System Systems: To deodorise and restore absorption field to capacity: Mix 10 litres of "BIO-ZYME" with a sufficient amount of water to thoroughly wet each 100m2 of field area. 8 Grease Converters: 1. NEW- Programme electric dosing pump to inject 100 mls of Biozyme per 300 ltrs of holding capacity, at the close of business each day. 2. USED:- Shock dose system with 5L of Biozyme to clear grease build up and programme the dosing pump to inject 100 mls of Biozyme Industrial per 300 ltrs of holding capacity at the close of business each day. Cleaning and De-odorizing Badly Soiled Commercial Carpets: Fill shampoo machine holding tank with a 1 to 20 dilution of Biozyme Industrial portable water and shampoo carpets until clean. Initially, with badly soiled carpets, it may be necessary to shampoo two or three times. This process will also bio-chemically de- odorize your carpets and provided they are shampooed regularly with Biozyme Industrial the odour and soilage problems will not reappear. Clearing waste discharge Organic Matter build up from irrigation systems: For the first week : Introduce Biozyme Industrial into your liquid waste disposal system at a rate of 5 Ltrs to 10,000 Ltrs of discharge by way of an automatic injection pump situated as far back up the system as possible. For the second week : Dose at a rate of 2 Ltrs per 10,000 Ltrs of discharge and there after dose at a maintenance rate of 1 Ltr of Biozyme Industrial per 10,000 Ltrs of waste discharge. 7
