30 years in public lighting and urban furniture

reasons for choosing reason 1 reason 2 reason 3 reason 4 reason 5 The raw material It s wood The look It s beautiful Durability, CE marking and extreme conditions It lasts Sustainable development It s eco-friendly Ease of maintenance It s easy to maintain 3

reason 1 Wood The first raw material & the raw material of the future. Mellow, solid and welcoming. a raw material for the future Centre Pompidou, Metz - France

Colour Swatch Think of dark-grained wood, matched with metal that has aged to an orangey-brown, which captures the natural lustre of a wood with coppery glints. This calls to mind an old garden tool, worn smooth by human hand. Golden brown textured metal matched with subtly oak-shaded wood, evoking bygone years. SHADE: memoire SHADE: tonnelier 14 15

Colour Swatch Like a witness to the passage of time, immune to its hurts, prematurely aged, it is unchanging and unchangeable. Here the wood is ribbed, stripped of all its sweetness, grey with hints of sky-blue to better bring out the light-coloured metal Almost a warm grey, worked silver perhaps? Dark wood with golden tints matched with metal that could almost be pewter. The technique is more refined, a touch sophisticated, creating a more elegant effect that evokes the juxtaposition of the wooden gunstock of an old-fashioned musket and the metal barrel and firing mechanism SHADE: origine SHADE: epice 16 17

reason 3 The raw material strength + stability Col de la Moréno, France EDF high tension pylon - 24m Scots pine heartwood from northern Europe. Glued-laminated timber composite of dimensioned wood pieces glued together. Glulam and Acerbois certificated quality and performance guaranteed

Why is CE Marking a must? «CUAP number 01.06/07 is the only European standard frame of reference applicable to timber-based columns. Every tender for public works must conform to European technical frames of reference (Directive 2004/18/CE). CE Marking on Aubrilam products is proof of their conformity to CUAP (Certificate 0679-CPD-0473). Aubrilam columns are the only timber-based lighting columns to conform to the requirements of the code governing public works tenders.» Patrick Racher European Expert in Timber Engineering 20 21

Your projects are planned in an environmentally sensitive way? You ve chosen a low-energy light source: that s good. Now put it on an Aubrilam column: that s even better! Sustainable development projects obviously include Aubrilam columns Wood or metal? Calculate the impact of your projects: Eco-gauge for projects on

reason : 2 hours of maintenance only Wood is not a throw-away material, it looks after itself. A coat of woodstain every 7 years in urban site. A single coat is enough. Brushing Woodstaining Brioude, France / mins per column. Maintenance guide on

Glossary LCA Lifecycle analysis: An effective and efficient means to assess the environmental impact of a product (use of raw materials and energy consumption, emissions to air and water, waste), taking into account the whole lifecycle of a product, from its manufacture to end-of-life (the so-called cradle to grave approach ). Its standardisation at an international level (the ISO series) makes it an effective measure nowadays. Ask online for an environmental analysis of your project using our eco-gauge. - Product description for your specification lists: Shaft in glued-laminated timber, certified ACERBOIS GLULAM produced with sawn planks from sustainably managed forests (PEFC or FSC) and designed according to HTE process. Finished with 3 coats of woodstain. Base and other metal parts in galvanised steel or aluminium with powder-coated polyester finish. Design and manufacture according to rules set out in CUAP 01/06/2007 and requirements of European Technical Approval ETA-10/0089: Product CE marked: Conformity Certificate CE 0679-CPD PEP Product Environmental Profile: Set out in norm ISO 14025, the PEP is an environmental declaration which offers quantative and qualitative data on the environmental impact of a product for the duration of its lifecycle. It s the result of the LCA of a product. Eco-Gauge: In accordance with the principles of norms ISO concerning the general principles of environmental declarations, ISO concerning type III environmental declarations and IEC PAS62545 concerning environmental data for electrical and electronic goods, this document sets out the comparison of environmental profiles for an Aubrilam column and a metallic column of equivalent strength. *the metallic column for comparison purposes is defined as the conventional product made of steel and aluminium available on the European public lighting market. Assess the environmental impact of your project. All PEPs for our products are available on our website Factory Our factory, 220m long and occupying a site of m 2, has benefitted from considerable investment in machinery and manufactures more than products annually for 200 projects.
