1 Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Revision / Review Date: 3/11/14 1. Chemical Product and Company Identification Product Name: VULCANOL G5 Distributed By: HB Chemical 1665 Enterprise Parkway Twinsburg Oh Phone SDS Prepared By (w Suppliers Input): HB Chemical Chemical Name / Family: Vulcanized vegetable oil /Factice Technical Name: Vulcanized vegetable oil Product Use: Synthetic Polymers OSHA Status: Not hazardous CAS No: For emergency health, safety, and environmental information, calls For emergency transportation information, in the United States: call CHEMTREC at Hazard(s) Identification Emergency Overview: Signs and Symptoms of Exposure: Primary Routes of Entry: A rubbery gel/crumb/lump material ranging from reddish brown to yellow. These grades have a strong sulfur odor ( pure white grades have a mild chalky odor). Overexposure is not expected to cause any significant toxic effects. Treat as a nuisance dust. Irritation to the eyes and skin. Eyes, Skin, ingestion and inhalation. Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure: None Known. Eye Contact: Skin Contact: Ingestion: Inhalation: HMIS Hazard Ratings: HMIS limitation statement: Health- 0, Flammability - 1, Reactivity - 0, Protection-C The HMIS hazard ratings numbers are meant to give a quick indication of the relative hazards associated with the product. All of the information contained in the SDS should be consulted to assist with the safe handling of this material.

2 3. Composition / Information on Ingredients Weight Percent / Typical Component Identity CAS Registry Number 100% Castor oil, vulcanized First Aid Measures Inhalation: Eyes: Skin: Ingestion: Remove to fresh air; give artificial respiration or oxygen if necessary. Flush eyes with water for 15 minutes. Call a physician if irritation develops. Wash skin with soap and water. Do not ingest. Do not induce vomiting. In large enough quantity, ingestion may cause central nervous system depression. Seek medical attention. 5. Fire-Fighting Measures Suitable Extinguishing Media: Special Fire Fighting Procedures: Hazardous Combustion Products: Use Chemical foam, CO2, Dry Chemical. Water fog or spray can be used to control fire, but is generally ineffective for direct fire suppression. Fire fighters should wear self-contained breathing apparatus when exposed to oxides of sulfur and carbon. This product will decompose under extreme temperatures forming oxides of carbon and sulfur. 6. Accidental Release Measures Steps to be taken in case material is spilled: Environmental Disposal Information: Waste Disposal: Wear appropriate protective equipment and gloves. Sweep up solid lumps and crumbs and dispose of according to local regulations. Spills with potential to contaminate coastal waterways must be reported to the U.S. Coast Guard ( ). All containers should be effectively labeled to facilitate the appropriate disposal or reclaim. 7. Handling and Storage:

3 Precautions to be taken in handling: Storage: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practices. Store in sealed containers in dry, ambient temperature conditions. No special handling procedures are indicated. 8. Exposure Controls / Personal Protection Respiratory Protection: Ventilation: Hand Protection: Eye Protection: Skin and Body Protection: Decontamination Facilities: Respirators should be selected when TWA exceeded. Avoid hot vapors when mixing or packaging. Use only where sufficient ventilation exists to keep exposure levels of fumes and dust below recommended levels. Wear gloves. Safety glasses with side shields; Wear boots and apron as appropriate. There should be a shower facility and eyewash in the building where this product is being stored and handled. Exercise good chemical handling practice. 9. Physical and Chemical Properties Physical Form: Appearance & Odor: Crumb Dark brown crumb Specific C Softening Point, R&B: Solubility in Water: Flash Point, TAG CC F: >200 Percent Volatiles (by weight): Evaporation Rate (Water ~ I): Vapor Pressure (mm Hg): Vapor Density (Air ~ I): Boiling Point (⁰F) Initial: Auto ignition Temperature, ⁰C: >300 Flammable Limits, %(V):

4 10. Stability and Reactivity Stability: Incompatibility (Materials to Avoid): Conditions to Avoid: Hazardous Polymerization: Decomposition: This product is stable under normal conditions. Strong oxidizers and bases. Should be kept away from extreme heat. Hazardous polymerization will not occur. This product decomposes under high temperature and hydrolyses in humid conditions. 11. Toxicological Information This material is not listed as a carcinogen or potential carcinogen by NTP, IARC, or OSHA. 12.
