6 PRE-TREATMENTS PRIMARY TREATMENTS OIL SEPARATORS WITH LAMELLA PACKS DISSOLVED AIR FLOTATION (DAF) SYSTEMS PLASTIC CHAIN SCRAPERS Lamella packs and packaged systems are suited for both civil and industrial water oil separation pre-treatment. They have been designed to guarantee excellent performances also with high loading rate. Packages available in painted carbon or stainless steel. Dissolved air floatation (DAF) systems are one of the most effective solution for pre-treatment of civil, industrial and process water where a high level of oil, fat and suspended solid removal is key. Flotation systems are complete with high performance Mitasat saturator. MITA Water Technologies chain scrapers are made of plastic materials and are suitable for installation in primary settlement or sand removal tanks. Self-lubricating properties and high-quality materials grant a long operational life with limited maintenance.

7 PRIMARY TREATMENTS SECONDARY TREATMENTS LAMELLA PACK CLARIFIERS BIORULLI AIR DIFFUSERS MITA Water Technologies designs and installs lamella pack systems for upgrade of primary sedimentation tank with quality and quantity enhancement. Lamella packs can be supplied for intank or stand-alone configuration. The Biorulli biological oxidation systems are a simple, reliable and cost-effective solution to treat wastewater from small and medium communities. They are also used for industrial wastewater treatment and are available for installation in concrete tanks or in packaged configuration with covering included. MITA Water Technologies distributes high-efficiency ENVICON membrane air diffusers. It is a viable and efficient solution for activated-sludge aeration. ENVICON diffusers are available in disc and tubular configurations.

8 SECONDARY TREATMENTS BIOFILM SUPPORT MEDIA PLASTIC CHAIN SCRAPERS LAMELLA PACK SETTLERS MITA Water Technologies propylene and high-efficiency biofilm support media for new and existing trickling filters and anaerobic digesters. Support media produced by MITA Water Technologies grant an excellent specific surface value to maximize volume usage in reaction tanks. Plastic chain scrapers designed and manufactured by MITA Water Technologies are widely used also in secondary sedimentation tanks where there is non-circular-shaped tank. Plastic material is used for most of the elements and allows to maintain a limited weight and to reduce risks of excessive wear of moving parts. Lamella packs used as secondary clarifiers grant high solids removal rate with low footprint. Suitable for both domestic and industrial wastewater.

9 SECONDARY TREATMENTS TERTIARY TREATMENTS BIOCOMBI SAND FILTERS CLOTH FILTERS Biocombi system unifies RBC biological treatment and high-efficiency secondary sedimentation through free-fiber cloth filter, all packed in a single tank. It is a compact solution which combines high performances in water treatment, simple operations and cost-effective maintenance. Packaged biocombi is available both in carbon and inox steel structure. Thanks to its exclusive backwash system, MITA Filtrasand ensures operational continuity and avoids fresh water consumption for cleaning purposes. At the same time, it guarantees high efficiency and reliability both in colloidal and non-colloidal suspended solid removal from any water type MITA Water Technologies free-fiber cloth filter is the state of the art in advanced wastewater tertiary treatment. Very high performances (up to < 5 ppm TSS), lowest energy consumption thanks to the outside-in flow path, simple operations and the lowest life-cycle cost among all advanced tertiary water treatment technologies.
