2 2. Description of the verification. manages the Good Environmental Choice Mark of Conformity in conformance to ISO International Standard for Third party Environmental Labelling and Declaration as the only product life cycle independent environmental declaration in Australia ( The organisation and is an independent non-profit environmental research and certification organisation recognised as the Australian member of an international network of ecolabelling schemes under the Global Ecolabelling Network. Following an independent audit against the recognition requirements of the Australian Ecolabel Program by the Australian Environmental Labelling Association Inc (AELA) the product has been awarded the "Good Environmental Choice" label for the Australian market after an assessment by AELA and recognition of the verification and certification activities of the Nordic Swan ecolabelling program ( The Ecolabel is awarded to those products that meet or exceed voluntary standards of environmental performance. The verification procedure is managed via a Documented Quality Management System and Certification Program Manuals which have made significant use of the ISO series. The following standards have been adapted to the programs requirements, ISO , , the series, environmental performance evaluation, This verification report has been compiled in conformance to these procedures and ISO The product Function: Hard Surface Flooring and Furniture Surfacing The scope of the certification: Brand: Marmoleum Artoleum Furniture Linoleum Product: The primary materials are all natural in origin and include cork, jute, linseed oil, gum resin. Compliance to the Nordic Swan standard for Flooring (Ver.3) and the requirements of the Australian Ecolabel Program overseas ecolabelling program recognition framework. ISO based environmental labelling and declaration programs identify the most important environmental loads along the product life cycle and stipulate levels of good environmental performance on these particular characteristics. This EPD outlines the results of the verification. Table 1: Material contents of linoleum 2,5 mm (Dutch system) 2.0 mm (Swedish system) in g/m 2.
