4 Effizienz-Agentur NRW - Center of Excellence for Cleaner Production Foundation: - the agency was founded as a private company in 1998 at the initiative of the Ministry of the Environment of NRW Objective: - Improve Competitiveness of Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) in North Rhine-Westphalia through implementation of cleaner production technologies Approach: - Introduce Innovative Technologies to SMEs that improve resource efficiency in production and avoid waste & hazardous emissions 4 Benefit: - Competitive companies provide jobs, reduce there production costs and coincident the environmental impact -A clean environment is essential for a high living standard at any place in the world
