Received date: Abstract: Introduce the technology process of HT- L hangtian pressurized gasification for pulverized coal, construction and operation of the demonstration plant, and assessment of the plant. Key words: HT-L hangtian gasifier; process; demonstration plant; assessment CLC No: TQ Document code: B Article ID: (2011) HT-L pulverized coal gasification technology process HT-L aerospace pulverized coal pressure gasification unit mainly includes coal grinding and drying unit, coal pressurized and transmission unit, gasification and synthetic gas washing unit, slag and grey water treatment unit. HT-L aerospace pulverized coal pressure gasification technology selects dry pulverized coal as its feedstock and uses quench process to produce crude synthesis gas. HT-L is a coil-type water cooling screen gasifier, the top Single burner, burning at high temperatures (1400~1800 ) and pressure Force (4.0MPa). The gasification agent is pure O2 and a small amount of water steam, and in the gasifier coal will gasification to generate the wet syngas(co + H2). Processes indicated in Figure 1. Major processes outline 2.1 Coal Milling and Drying unit The unit consists of 3 parts including coal milling, inert gas transportation, coal powder filter. Milling part uses conventional coal grinding and drying technology. Raw crashed coal coming from bunker entered into the mill after measured by the weighing machine. Pulverized coal will be obtained inside the mill, dryed and conveyed by the high temperature inert gas, and then separated through the bag filter. Pulverized coal enters into the bunker by the screw conveyor and the inert gas can be recycled. 2.2 Coal Pressurized and Transmission unit The pulverized coal, after qualified Separation, will be stored in the bunker, which connected with coal feed tank through the lock hopper. Coal Feed Tank will feed continuously to the gasifier burner with the constant pressure gap between the gasifier. The coal lock hopper will be feed at atmospheric pressure and discharge the pressurized coal to the tank in a cycle way. 2.3 Gasification and Syngas Purifying unit The Pulverized coal enters into the Burner of the gasifier through 3 coal powder pipelines. The oxygen, heated by the Oxygen pre-heater, mixes with steam in steam mixer, and will be entered into the gasifier burner with a certain ratio. The Pulverized coal will be combusted in the gasifier to produce synthetic gas (H2 And CO). Synthesis gas goes through the Quench Ring into the Quench Room, in which the synthesis gas will be cooled, humidified, dust removed and washed, saturated by water, and the slag will be rapidly solidified. And then the synthesis gas will enter into the Venturi scrubbers and synthesis gas scrubbers to further humidification, dust removing and Washing. Synthesis gas will then go into the shift process. The slag will be deposited in the water of quench room, and most of the slag can be sedimentated rapidly and discharged regularly by the slag lock hopper system. 2.4 Slag and Grey Water Treatment unit The black water, from the gasifier quench room and the bottom of synthesis gas scrubber, will enter into the slag water system. The two grade flash evaporation can remove non-condensable gases and recovery the Heat. Solid particles can be collected after flocculation, sedimentation, filtration and the Grey Water will be recycled. 3. 3 Puyang Longyu demonstration project was to transform the gasification part of the old gas plant fixed layer unit and it also built up the 150 kt / a methanol Purification plant, the project construction period was 18 months as below: - January 2007, started construction - January 2008, all civil construction completed - Mechanical completion in August October 13, 2008 an ignition system feeding success Running Record The HT- L pulverized coal pressurized unit of Puyang Longyu Chemical succeeded to fire and feed at 11:13 on October 13, 2008 and Gasification unit achieved a safe, stable, long-term operation after rectification in May The burner ran 146 days in total and combined burners (including two combustion Devices) ran more than a year totally. However, for the question of other system, gasification unit failed to achieve full load operation, the maximum flow of oxygen into the gasifier reached the amount of m3/ H producing fine alcohol 450 t/d Coal Shenmu coal single burning, coal mixed with Xinqiao and Wu Yanmei mix-burning, Xinqiao anthracite fines single burning Performance indicators - Gasification operation temperature: 1400~ Effective gas composition: 90%~ 92% - Effective gas (CO + H2) : the coal consumption of about 580 kg / km3 - Effective gas (CO + H2) :the oxygen consumption of about 350 m3/ Km3 3.2 Linquan project Construction Anhui Linquan chemical demonstration project was a complete new 200 kt / a methanol plant, main construction contents include gasification Devices, air separation, transformation, purification, compression, synthesis, distillation and Public works. Progress of construction projects: construction period of 24 months: - Started construction in October In October 2007, civil construction completed - August 2008, Mechanical completion - October 31, 2008 system feeding and ignition success in one time Running Record The HT- L gas space pressurized pulverized coal unit of Anhui Linquan Chemical succeeded for the first trail production at 9:08 on October 31, After two rectification, at April 15, 2009 it achieved a stable operation. April 15, 2009 to 2010 April 15, gasifier total running 326 d (calendar days 365 d), running ratio of 89.3%. HT-L Site Assessment and Results 23th ~26 th, October 2009 Adopted by China Petroleum & Chemical Association of the site assessment. Conclusion : (1) coal gasification + water quench process is simple and reliable, suitable for coal Chemical processes; gasification plant can be safe, stable and reliable operation. Promotion of HT-L aerospace pulverized coal gasification technology So far, the view from the demonstration plant operation, HT-L coal gasification process systems, instrumentation control systems, equipment, construction are well designed, some operating indicators have reached or exceeded the advanced Coal gasification technology indicators, all meet the design requirements.
