11 RESILIENCE: EXTREME HEAT By 2050, under a business-as-usual global emissions scenario: 5 F increase in mean temperature for summer months, exacerbated by Urban Heat Island Effect Extreme temperatures exceeding 13 F above historical extremes Daily extremes comparable to Phoenix, AZ Annual extremes comparable to Death Valley, CA Projected summer surface air temperature BAU scenario

12 TRANSIT ACCESS Number of jobs within 30 minutes by transit 18.7% of residents are within a 10 minute walk of a transit stop <2,100 >10,100 Jobs within 30 mins by transit
