1 PART I (30 MARKS) Attempt all questions from this Part Question 1. Study the extract of the Survey of India Map sheet No. 45D/10 and answer the following questions. (Easting - 14 to 24, Northing - 02 to 12) : (a) (i) Give the six figure grid reference of Triangulated height 1352 in the eastern part of the map. (f) What do you understand by the term Motorable in dry season? What does it indicate about the type of rainfall experienced in this region? (g) What type of settlement do you observe at the foothills? (h) Identify the type of slope in GS2204. (i) Comment on the nature of well in GS1806.
