3 China motor system energy saving policies National Motor efficiency improvement plan a)jointly implemented by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology fo the People's Republic of China (MIIT) General Administration of Quality Supervision Inspection and Quarantion of the People's Republic of China(AQSIQ) b)implemented from 2013 to 2015 c)main objective :By 2015, at least 50% low-voltage three-phase asynchronous motors and 40% high-voltage motors reach the standard of high-efficiency motor efficiency. 3

AQSIQ ) jointly published the energy efficiency front-runner system implementation plan in Scope of implementation: endusing energy products, energy intensive industries and public institutions. 7

8 China motor system energy saving policies The tier 1 electric motor is nominated as the front-runner motor In public financed projects, front-runner motors will be used with higher priority. 8
