15 Cabinet approval, 28 Dec 2016 Reform statistical system mechanism Key Factors to Review Oss in Natural Resources and Environment Statistics Strengthen statistical capacity building Develop official statistics integration Develop statistical services Promote statistical standard and quality

16 Context Other national statistical development activities - National reporting on conventions of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Biodiversity, Wetland and Climate change - Develop the list of information and statistics in natural resources and environment to support Government MIS database. - Review list of Official Statistics in Natural Resources and Environment Statistics Sectors including statistical development plan. - State of Environment Report

17 Priority Accounts 1. Water resources 2. Wastes 3. Biological resources 4. Emissions to air 5. Land Resources

18 Constraints - Need capacity building accounts/indicators : water resources, wastes, land resources, biological resources Stakeholders related to environmental statistics lack of knowledge and practice in the FDES and SEEA, so it needs to train for their capacity building. - Need data development accounts/indicators : all natural resource and environmental statistics Environmental statistic accounts/indicators in terms of monetary value or monetary flow accounts are not harmony with framework of SEEA, so it needs to improve the environment statistics system, particularly aspect of the interactions between economy and environment, - Need institutional cooperation or financing accounts/indicators : water resources, wastes, land resources, biological resources Some indicators of environmental statistics in frame of the SEEA system are not set up, it need to financially support to set up indicators.
