Our services range from consulting and design, to the supply of components, to turnkey overall systems and system operation. In addition, we also focus on control technology topics in this area. The range of services provided by SAR includes solutions of varying sizes for industrial buildings or open spaces, as well as off-grid systems for the environmentally friendly supply of remote areas - far away from the public electricity grid. We can implement the systems in their entirety when acting as the general contractor, but also as sub-works. Up to now, the use of diesel generators was the only way to ensure a constant power supply - which is harmful to the environment and very expensive in the long term. Together with strong local partners, we are working to increase the share of renewable energies in these electricity grids. The key points are the creation of grid stability and security of supply, as well as the reduction of CO 2 emissions and fuel costs. These objectives are to be achieved through hybrid systems: the generation of electricity from different energy sources, for example photovoltaics supported by diesel generators. On the one hand, these are classic offgrid systems for municipal and industrial use. Diesel generators are mostly replaced or are only retained as a buffer for high loads. There is also the option to store excess energy in batteries. On the other hand, hybrid systems are used for energy-intensive industries in remote regions. In this case, the photovoltaic system acts as a supporting system. High loads can be covered by additional energy from the PV system, or it can be used to relieve the generator. Central to this is a controller, which provides the optimal balance between the energy production systems. Our supply and service offering ranges from electrical installation to complete automation. You can benefit from our many years of experience in the field of environmental technology. The result: High performance, state-of-the-art biogas plants. Together with Snow Leopard Projects GmbH, we design and build high performance biogas plants with up to 30 percent more yield. The technology used was specifically developed to deal with the exacting requirements of fibrous materials and includes batch hydrolysis and the separation of biological processes in different containers. In cooperation with Two-stage biogas plant in Clixby, UK 499 kwe The biogas plant was designed for the input materials typically found in England, such as solid manure from chickens, pigs and cattle which contains straw, as well as for grass and barley silage. The requirements are significantly higher compared to the fermentation of silage maize, as more than 50% of straw is actually not fermentable. SAR provided the entire control technology, visualisation and remote maintenance, which can also be used to implement changes to the control system. Two-stage biogas plant in Lake Naivasha, Kenia 2.4 MWe The system can convert up to 100 tonnes of vegetable waste generated by Vegpro to biogas, electricity and heat on a daily basis. In the past, diesel generators were used to bridge the blackouts of the state electricity grid, which partly occurred on a daily basis. The biogas plant now makes it possible to save the entire diesel costs. This leads to a saving of approximately 0.15 euro per kilowatt-hour. Voltage fluctuations in the electricity grid that damaged the electric motors are now a thing of the past, since the biogas generators run evenly and reliably.
