Young scientist award & silver medal (2 nd Prize) for the Second Best Paper entitled, Development of a 15 kw (Shaft Power) Down Draft Experimental Research Gasifier, at 1 st National Technical Meet on Recent Advances in Biomass Gasification Process & Technology, held at I.I.T., Bombay, Sept Young Scientist Award & Gold Medal (1 st Prize) for the best paper entitled On Performance of Downdraft Gasifier as Influenced by Water Seal, at 2 nd National Technical Meet on Recent Advances in Biomass Gasification Process & Technology, held at Udaipur,Dec Ujas Award. 4. BREAKTHROUGH/INNOVATIONS/ACHIEVEMENT Developed Delayed Entry technique for backfire free operation of single cylinder & multi-cylinder Hydrogen fuelled engines in at IIT-Bombay. Developed Experimental Research Gasifier having provision of parametric variation for development of biomass specific design of downdraft gasifire at IIT-Bombay during Developed India s first solar assisted electrical vehicle during Involved from concept to commissioning of 0.5 MW sewage gas based power plant for Surat Municipal Corporation during , which is first of its kind in India.
